ok I'm an enormous fan of sly cooper but frankly I don't see anything wrong with the new game. first off the animated 2d ( and 3d) style are amazing and very unique in its own way and far from the original, but in a good way. it is different yes, but this style is very pleasing to the eye and the characters seem more interesting to look at. the details are fascinating and I can't wait to see the game. plus why is everyone complaining about a game that hasnb't come out yet?

It won't be as well presesnted as the first (any!) but it had a style. it lost the style so much that even fans could do the syled cut scene's and stories that would fit me preffered taste. Give it some time the graphics are cool it gives it a twist on the whole world and the cut scene is still good...so you might be the only one out of thousands to be ungrateful for this game. I personally believe they look different because they are a different company and they don't want to copy sucker punch because that's their style. I also think they are trying to make sly a bit more mature game overall but still keep the feeling. Sly 4 is also a ps3 game so the graphics are gonna be different. But Sanzaru's sly is gonna be good because if they are as big of fans as they say they are not gonna mess this up. I am not daying the game's gonna be amazing just my opinion.

Why is everyone so mad about this? I think the graphics look fine, Sly is meant to be cartoony. It's not like they would make the characters exactly the same as in the previous game, take a look at Sly 1 and Sly 2; they look really different. I think this looks more like the first Sly Game. Come on give Sanzaru a break. They are getting advice from Sucker Punch Productions just so they don't screw up the game AND Sanzaru is adding some new features in the game that didn't make it in the last 3 games that Sly has been around. This is just a demo that they put together in a short amount of time and they are making sure that Sly Cooper is SLY COOPER. People should give Sanzaru at least a chance. I am not trying to jump the gun here, but from what i first see, it really does not look like the kind of game i would expect from Sly 4- so far that is.

The graphics certainly looks like it could be done better, Slys fur looks a little too dark in comparison to the Sly in the other series.

However, as for the scenery, it might have looked more like a city before Sly and that tiger started to go into battle against each other- but that is just what i think, and my opinion. I respect your opinion

these are the facts not all but some: Sanzru are big fans of Sly & that makes me really happy to know that, back in 2008 Sanzaru got a PS3 development kit & created a Sly Cooper demo From scratch With no assistance from Sucker Punch the demo was their version of the Thievius Racconus. Sony liked there vision and so did SP so before Sony let them do this told Sanzru they had to port the 3 originals to PS3 & that would be handy for them when coding the game. now to modern facts...

The cell graphics for this game look amazing, I mean to bring Cell graphics to the next gen successfully is hard to do considering everything being extremely pixelized. The art styles for the game stays as close as possible to the original three but also gives it the "matured" look. I hate how people nit pick a game that's still in development. My only complaint would be Sly's face, which can easily be changed. The game looks and plays like a Sly game.

Good story, good gameplay, and good graphics, that's the main premise of a game and without those aspects, the game can't turn out good. I had Sly 1 and 2. I don't know if this was in sly 3, but in sly 1 you could replay beaten levels. In sly 2, you could not replay beatn levels. If sly 4 does not have the ability to replay levels, that will be a major dissapointment. And online gameplay must be in the game. Those issues are larger that the loooks of the game. Not much info has even been released of the game. And the open world to free roam in should be larger and more interactive, kinda like a GTA game.

Sly Cooper isn't just meant for kids, there are numerous adult themes in the previous games, but it's not that much of a violent game either. It's an all ages game with a few adult themes and some hard gameplay for the older players and hardcore gamers. The gameplay isn't meant to be violent stealth gameplay, it's cartoony stealth, your not going to see any extreme violence in it.

The problem is not reviewing the game before the release but the bad assessments that you give and we also can share our opinions. And hating your videos? seriously? you're the one hating. and the graphics are only bad because you watch them in the lowest quality possible, try some hq. The graphics are super awesome

@jack100200300 That is agreed. However, this Sly series has a new futuristic touch added to it. It's just a matter of people seeing that this is the new way of Sly Cooper and warming up to it. Personally I think the new style allows for a higher level of gaming stimulation. True the game can be improved, but that's why it's not going to be released until 2012.

@TheDeviousCoopers ya i like the art style..its bright and it reminds me of sly 1 cutscenes which isnt a bad thing.yes sly is dark in colour and in the boss battle demo the setting is way too dark...like this is the first solo sly cooper game for the ps3..the ps3 should allow sanzaru make gameplay improvements like melee combat and stealth system example.nathan drake hides behina a wall in uncharted guard comes along he kills them..imagine thats sly grabs the guard with his cane and kills guard

@TheDeviousCoopers ya i played a random playthrough on sly 3 and i wanted to see what would be cool to bring forward to sly 4 and i noticed you couldnt hide behind any walls at all.and i really want that stealth feature just grab the guards neck lets say with the cane and slam him into the wall it would really cool and another thing i want improved is melee combat in sly games its nearly impossible to dodge guards shooting u with their gun.improve it and maybe be able to dodge guard attacks.

I accept your opinions. As long as you don't say the game is going to be a huge failure because of a few details i'm fine. The gameplay might be a totally different story.

Try and play the game when its released and try and talk more about the gameplay as well. And Sanzaru wanted to make the boss battles more powerful. Sly maybe will sneak around in the usual dark environments in the regular stages.

Have you seen the footage of Murray? the stage looked quite regular.

I want to say a few things.

We haven't seen much of the storyline except El Jefe. Maybe more details on the story are revealed. What if Clockwerk shows up? What if he is responsible for the pages disappearing?

I assumed graphics and artwork would be different with the ps3. And i can accept a few changes. As long as they don't give Sly a gun and turn him into James Bond i'm fine.

I'm more afraid of changes that would make the gameplay something else. Thats what i'm afraid of.

@TheSliferSoul i think the gameplay has to be improved...like in the series u cant hide behind building walls..sanzaru should add that feature to sly 4 and when a guard comes around u can grab the guards neck with your cane and kill them..it makes it more realistic and makes sly more of a real thief...like nathan drake from uncharted and killing people when guards come along and just imagine that was sly..it would amazing improvement to sly 4

@jack100200300 Sly is not a killer. And he already have a move btw which he can use to take down enemies from behind and knock em out. Also Sly Cooper has nothing to do with realism.

Improve the gameplay. Yes. But not in the way similar to Uncharted. Uncharted is a franchise suited for adults which is why he kills people while Sly Cooper is a child friendly franchise

But either way. The franchise was meant to be comic-like with cartoon-violence (No killing) and animal characters. Its a franchise similar to Crash Bandicoot, Super Mario and Sonic the hedgehog. meaning its supposed to be non-realistic and for kids.

I do understand if you want new additions to the gameplay. I want too. But nothing violent and gory. I do like your idea of being able to hide behind walls since it could help sly.
