Actually the jazz segment makes the difference, since there's nothing more useless than a cover that just replicates the original song without any addition or creative leap...

This is a great cover imho, but you might want to check the whole album since it's a progressive metal masterpiece.

Whats too bad (yikes!no pun intended) is that this BAND was one of the greatest Prog Metal bands in a time when Progressive Rock and Metal was having a resurgence (mid to late 90's) and are considered a classic. So its sad that this band will be judged by this re-make (THEIR interpretation, not a carbon copy). Please seek out their Albums here, especially "Insights". You can hear the Guitarists newer Band "Suncaged" a bit heavier and their new album (in 2011) is one of the best of the year :)
