  • YAYYYYY

  • ahhh such dad music. (i mean that in the best way as in i grew up with this because of my dad) this is so choice! i love it :)

  • @FunThieves4 I know exactly what you mean :)

  • @FunThieves4 and if you're wise, it'll be your kids "dad music" also.

  • @buffbiker3 absolutely! except it'll be "mom music"...that sounds kind of crappy haha but yes my children will know this and all other great music. :)

  • Heard this song on the radio and now I can't get it out of my head

  • poopsy... that's exACTLY what they are saying....is give peace a chane...'cause it time:))

  • I dreamed of this song last night - it was the most vivid dream!

  • wow. how can there be so little views? this song is sick!

  • YES! XD give peace a chance and look for the good within everyone...this world would be so much better if we just all put a little more effort into respecting, understanding, and loving each other.

Peace and love to all, PASS IT ON!

    <3 :D

  • Amazing... :)

  • every time I listen to this now, I remember the popping sound vinyl records made when I listened to it then...

  • Stupenda!

  • 8 people aren't good people

  • Yes

     Emerson Lake & Palmer

    The Spectrum

    1971

    Glad I went!

  • @Mynamesalexa Yes Frampton , JFK Stadium (Philly) 1976. Rock on!

  • @Mynamesalexa lol...the spectrum...had fun in that place. I'm not from Philly but we made the trip a few times. Great fun.

  • @Mynamesalexa

Emerson Lake & Palmer? Did they play Lucky Man???

  • still fresh after 40 years

  • Fantastic song.

  • this album helped me through a real rough time...

  • Happy Birthday Tony Kaye (January 11)

  • greatest album artworks ever other than tool 10,000 days thats just trippy lol

    namaste my loved ones!

  • I don't know, it's hard to choose, but I'd say my favorite part of this song is from 0:00 to 6:57.

  • @TheOneEyedHound Worst part is 6:58

  • @ktoimil Pfft, yeah. You got that one right.

  • I love what they do at the end of this song...it's so cool ^^

  • "I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way"

  • The beginning sounds like GOD is singing .Most amazing vocal harmonies .Simply beautiful

  • ITS A YES SONG WHAT ELSE NEEDS TO BE SAID.

  • I love this song.... It's uplifting.

  • I am typically not a Prog Rock person, but YES had some great songs! This is definitely one of them!!!

  • it never ends give peace a chance someday

  • great song from a great group that was very underrated and very overlooked. good video also.

  • This sounds awesome at the end of the best movie ever: Zeitgeist Moving Forward!

  • @TheDarkFenix That movie is a pile of bullshit, made by whining bastards.

  • @primusdude87

Well you sir is the one who whines now, we are trying to solve problems.

  • .......great song

  • I love Steve Howe, what an enormous talent, but if it's about the 'best guitarist in the world' I'd have to go Joe Bonamassa - mind boggling. I'm seeing Yes next year in Oz at Easter at Byron... can't wait, but am disappointed in not seeing Jon Anderson - I love his voice, it's a dream.

  • @sknelander00 Howe is good, really good, but he isnt #1 that spot will always be taken by Hendrix.

  • The combination of this song and the 2010 movie version of Alice in Wonderland makes media perfection.

  • Jon, don't surround yourself with yourself.. yes just isn't yes without you. oh and happy birthday:D

  • I much prefer the more pop driven Trevor Rabin Yes, but this is song awesome

  • Jon's birthday is coming up(Oct.25) 67 years.Let's celebrate.

  • im 17 years old....and i lovethis song. i can play this song over and over again :)

  • There needs to be more Progressive Rock these days than Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater.

  • dude, if you turn this up nice and loud, and listen closely. cant you here then sing in the background: ''All we are saying, is give peace a chance''

  • @poopy1239 no..... sorry..... better luck next time!

  • @2joo4u you must have bad speakers bro

  • @poopy1239 that's what makes this song even more awesome... a hidden john lennon tribute, couldn't be more perfect

  • @poopy1239 and you say what

  • @poopy1239 Right on Brother..it's not about Good People (morally of which he sings)..he has not control over the Goodness..because it is good..so he can move on knowing what the Truth is...which is Love..which brings...peace.

  • @poopy1239 Nice, never noticed that before. It's on the left channel only starting at 2:54.

  • @poopy1239 Absolutely. I never knew that until you mentioned it.

  • @poopy1239 this is awesome aint it? first time i noticed it a couple years ago i was like ='D

  • AWESOME SONG ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙

  • if you've ever been in a Yes audience, you can truly say that you've seen all good people!

  • This reminds me of Almost Famous. ♥♥ What an awesome soundtrack that was.

  • That bass is rivaling Bootsy Collins (and that's coming from a huge fan of his).

  • I love this song even know how many times i listen to it it's just awesome

  • yes..i was curious about trekkian...dammit...i have a shorter attention span then a squirrel. smh.

  • 6 people have no idea what great music is...

  • once on a monday morning i had a day of, in the early seventies , turned on the radio to our dutch radio station Hilversum 3 and.... YES with this beautiful song, in the Vincent van Engelen show. thanks Vincent i will allways remember that monday. listening to YES for the first time.

  • 6 peeps are not good people

  • @sirdie make that 7.

  • @sirdie 8 people got mad at your comment they are so on the naughty list!

  • Heads up: The comment from trekkian88 is on page 8 at this date and time. For the curious that is.

  • Love this song, makes me think of Lost and the Dharma Initiative.

  • Intrinsic Art' in the art of life squared'

  • It's YES and everyone else.

  • this song helped me recover...been good for all these years....one step

  • Notice how Tony is trying to hide behind the mannequin.

  • Classic rock will never die.....

  • It's the chess game of life.

  • hmmmm

  • All I can say is IT'S YES!!!!!!Seen them twice in concert in the 70's and this song is wonderful live.

  • i had made my mind up years ago on yes as bloated proggy nonsense but i read an article on them the other day and thought i'd give them a go, and this isjust brilliant! best thing i've heard in ages

  • How could you dislike this song.

"Don't surround yourself with yourself" is one of the deepest lyrics of all time.

  • @alexwilsonNC the funny part about it is the lyrics are about a chess game haha

  • @achedd ah but what does the game of chess symbolize?? cuz you know sometimes words have 2 meanings.. ;-)

  • @alexwilsonNC Yep, the teenaged ego is supposed to be a transitory thing, ponies running wild until they're harnessed and broken, for taking up his or her place in the community, hopefully smoothly so. This lyric DOES help point the bullheaded back toward the herd...of their own volition.

  • You guys should look up Ra's cover of this song. It's very good. Just type in "Ra seen all good people" in the search box of youtube

  • One of the top 500,000 songs of ALL TIME!

  • AMAZING song!!!

  • @MightyMartl, i just bought South of the Sky last night, personally I like to play South of the Sky on drums and guitar, but I've Seen All Good People I like to Sing on vocals.

  • Declining population.empty office towers declining night life!

  • Cleveland is a screwball kind of place.

  • Saw them live last night

  • @probstanator ...and how was it?

  • @MightyMartel Well they played with Styx and Kansas... so fucking amazing to say the least

  • that is a epic song, so catchy and sweet. Glad I bought it for rockband

  • @vistea1 I couldn't decide if I wanted to buy this or South Side of the Sky and I decided on the latter. I only had enough points for one song and one cheaper song. South Side of the Sky is hella fun on guitar and it's probably insane on Keys.

  • Get stoned to this. You think about life quite a bit. That was my experience with this song.

  • sweet

  • 5 people haven't seen all good people

  • Yes needs a sponsor now! they have to be in the rock and roll hall of fame, their peers need to wake up as well as the "commitee"

  • Coming to Rock Band DLC July 26th!

  • watching yes tonight!

  • This band isn't on the rock and roll hall of fame why the hell is Madonna on there?

  • @n64wilbert cause the rock hall of fame is a piss stain

  • @thefaketahare The reason why is because the "induction committee" for the Hall is one person...the man responsible for Rolling Stone Magazine. That shows what they know about music.

  • If I'm not mistaken, wasn't this song featured in the movie "Big Fish"? Someone tell me I'm correct.

  • @sexymd07

    you are correct.

  • These are all top notch musicians, and their music and creative processes are on a completely different level than 75 % of musicians. But why, oh why, does Steve Howe, the guitar player, never get proper credit? He plays smokin rock style, tears up a classical guitar, (listen to The Clap), and is one of the most versatile guitarists out there. I love this band and this song!

  • @kkllgg74

I don't think anyone but guitar players recognize his unique talents. I dated a girl back in the 70s and I was trying to convince her that Howe was the best. She liked Peter Frampton, "Because he is cute" - So with that kind of mentality, it is hard to get people to see his dominance of the guitar because he also plays so eloquently, not just loud and nasty. But to us guitarists, he'll always be #1

  • @skyelander00 I have to agree with you, I saw Yes this summer with Styx....Howe plays guitar like no one I have ever seen....he is awesome! And by the way, im a girl! LOL

  • woke up with this tune in my head, had to hear it... currently away from my record collection, so I am very happy to hear it here, thanks!

  • Anyone up for a game of chess?

  • @cindy85123 :-)

  • @cindy85123 sure, I'll take black..

  • @cindy85123 it's your move

  • @cindy85123 ... Anytime, anyday and we'll have a ball...-:)

  • @cindy85123 "The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monsterous he cannot believe it exists."-J. Edgar Hoover

"We shall have World Government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent."-James Warburg(Council on Foreign Relations)

"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the new age unless he will take a Luciferian initiation."-David Spangler(United Nations)

  • @cindy85123 NO IM LISTENING TO YES HAHAHAHAH

  • Thumbs up if you came across this song because of Zeitgeist: Moving Forward

  • @ManlySlut I hate that version!!!!!

  • bobby fischer against the world bought me here. chess song

  • A clasic. Wonderful song.

  • Hoje acordei cantando esta música pro meu guri. Ele disse que deu "curtir" no Face.

  • Beautiful.

  • Within 2 years they had Alan!Need I say more?

  • "Don't surround yourself with yourself, move on back two squares" - Such simplicity but what true perfect depth of advice it is.

I swear there was an earlier version I used to listen to in the mid '70s without the '80s genre 'All we are saying is give peace a chance' background vocals... ???

  • FRINGE!!!

  • Thumbs up if Doctor Bishop brought you here!

  • @JPeeper Yes brought me here. Dr bishop has nothing to do with Yes.

  • I love Yes I love this song : )

i think there are people that just go around clicking thumbs down to piss other people off

  • these guys who sing this song, their singing and music sound more american than british that they are

  • @cover821 Well, I personally belive that the rock band Kansas was the American awnser to Yes. Kerry Livgren from Kansas really reminds me of Rick Wakeman at times. Kansas even had their own pop phase in the mid 80s. Kansas had Drastic Measures while Yes had 90125. Kansas mainstream hit "Fight Fire with Fire" is the equievelant to Yes' "Owner of a Lonley Heart"

  • As with all good music - this stands the test of time and still great now - saw them at the revolving stage in 78 Wembley Arena, then 20 years later same venue - still brilliant !

    Rock n Roll !

  • bellisima versione !!!!! l'ho ascoltat piu'di di 15 anni fa e a distnza di TANTI anni ancora mi velgono le lacrime<!!

  • 3:09-3:19 All we are saying, is give peace a chance.

(Actually it's throughout the whole song!)

  • some of the masters of musicianship. we took it ALL FOR GRANTED back then the quality and variety of the 60's and 70's little did we know it would dissolve into the dribble of hip hop. anyone who is over 35 and actually patronizes and apologizes for kayne, m&m, and the countless others should be ashamed, banished, and called out. saul stars above texas music.

  • @sacollectiblesii Well said. Couldn't agree with you more.

  • @trekkian88 Please learn to troll better. Then you may make another attempt.

  • @iloverush123

I consider myself to be an expert troll on the internet, but that was just terrible in its execution and delivery. I've Seen All Good Trolls (except for that guy).

    Did that troll suck? Yes.

  • @trekkian88 I disagree about the Justin Bieber thing. But I must admit that it was kind of funny.

  • @Macdougalizer well duh it was suppose to be funny... humorless fuckwads

  • @trekkian88 That's just the thing...it wasn't.

  • @trekkian88 I'm not even going to ask!!

  • @trekkian88 A troller on Yes vid? WTF! The people are goin' crazy...

  • @trekkian88

This was not funny at all. Justin Bieber jokes are old and tired and stupid.

  • @trekkian88 cmon..now thats just dumb

  • @trekkian88 cmon..now thats just dumb

  • Best. Musicians. Formed. Into. A. Band. Ever.

Charlie Sheen has nothing on these guys. They really are WINNING!

  • cool song :)

  • I love that this was posted by a Rush fan, when I was a little kid I thought this song was either Rush or Fleetwood Mac. hahaha I realize that they sound like neither but what do want I was a little kid.

  • i love the piano/keyboard/whatever it is at 4:16

  • I must be said, that this song has some of the best orchestrations I ever heard.

  • love how the rhytm changes in Your move and i will not lose my words about All good people. Just awesome
