@BBRRAAAAAAPP Automatics are gay? You need to go out into the real world of drag racing... auto's are soo much better than manual's. Maybe not in stock for, but once you get em stalled and built up, manual's kiss automatic's ass all day. Manual's are only better for power control, I.E. better for circuit racing etc. Drag? automatic all day. I have a manual simply because they are more fun and my car is for the most part going to be a more street oriented car.

About what I expected, closer than I thought it would be but I expected the LS1 to win. I've got a B-body LT1 with full bolt-ons swapped into my 89 GTA and against a stock LS1 I can win, but an LS1 with equal mods will trap about 6mph higher than I do.

The LS1 makes about 50hp more on average than a 97 LT1 out of a Z28. And the LS1 is lighter by about 100lbs too.

@z28KR3W i have a built lt1 with the 6 speed tranny im using 235/55/17s on the rear and i really need to upgrade my tires lol nd yea i stay putting 93 octane i can run 1/4 mile in about 9 secs at 130 (got my ass arrested already for "laying drag") any more questions? just ask
