  • ALAN IS THE MAN HELL HE PRODUCED DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

  • im not perfect, but at least im no skirt chasing, drunk, arrogant, selfish, cowardly, self centered, lying, fake, greedy, shallow waste of human flesh like someone from my past. i may be a few things....or alot of things.....but it could be worse. i could be like you

  • When computers filled a room. The video's concept/message still rings true today. Timeless classic...

  • Never knew there was a video for it ! I never seen it on MTV back when it actually was a station worth watching . Of course I didn't have cable . But most of my friends did . And I was over at their houses an awful lot back then . Seems I would have seen it at least once... I would love to see an upgraded version of this video (Sound wise ) Thanks for sharing . Even as many times as I have heard this particular track , This video was refreshing .

  • I wish this song was 30 minutes long.

  • this song is dedicated to all the tools , and douche bags who think there better than everyone else.

  • LENNY FOREVER !

  • @myancov Hi there Lenny Zakatek apparently still plays that incredible song

  • with a hit hat like that, this should have been a big disco hit in addition to the pop hit that it was.

  • Two verses, bridge with Ian Bairnson on guitar, one more verse. Oh, and did I fail to mention the awesome funk groove throughout? Think about it. There are people out there roaming the earth, just like you and me, that NEVER HEARD THIS AWESOME SONG. Scary and sad.

  • Fuck I should have been born in 60's Real sex and real music by the time I grew up ..Now I am struck with Gaga and Porn ..

  • Fantastic and a great song! Thanks for posting. :)

  • The orig. of any song is always the best !

  • Classic!

  • Guess who the robot is? It's Paul Schaffer!! lol! No but seriously this is an awesome tune.

  • Now this is what REAL music video is. Wonder where they filmed this? Looks like some university or something. Love those vintage UNIVAC mainframes!

  • one of the best music videos of 1977

  • awesome song...for some reason, i always thought Atlanta Rhythm Section done this song originally....i just happen to stumble on it...again, awesome song

  • OH YES!

  • awesome track

  • Love the Groove in this song. APP, WAY UNDERRATED & UNSUNG

  • @Broughmo I agree and I also disagree . The Groove is awesome . I Robot is STILL my favorite of ALL Alan Parsons Albums that I have heard . But this song was one of his larger hits, I believe . A classic Radio Station in my town plays this song at least every other hour (It seems ! ) If you want an under rated song try The Voice from the same LP .Almost no airplay at all.

  • What an odd video.

  • I've always been fascinated by this video. It's trippy and yet so simple. It would have been nice to have had Eric Woolfson show up in it, but Alan Parsons is entertaining all on his own.

  • @Liberal1969 Eric is there.. he plays the robot :-)

  • @urbania70 Oh, that explains it. Thank you. I'm glad they're both in there. They're great.

  • @Liberal1969 Take into account that this appearance of Eric and Alan in foreground is exceptional, being unique among the APP videoclips. They weren't the kind of musicians which would appear as frontmen but they stayed rather behind the scenes, as producers and writers, which was the main concept behind the Project. • @Liberal1969 From what I've seen, he's quite hilarious on his own. And geez...He used to be tiny.

  • @Liberal1969 Actually, that is Eric Woolfson playing the part of the 'robot'.

  • @Liberal1969 That is Eric Woolfson with the dark hair and beard. Saw him interviewed on David Letterman. The REAL force behind APP. RIP.

  • @Liberal1969 hi there, in fact Eric Woolfson plays the Robot role but he is cover apparently by a silk stocking salutes
