Elijah Muhammad made a lot of self defeating claims. He conveyed that the Qua-ran is the direct word from Allah and is holy and true(Message to the black man pg 92), yet his teachings conflicts with what the Qua-ran says. Ex. In the Surah 4:1, it communicates that Humanity(all people) come from Adam and his mate through procreation, yet Elijah Muhammad teaches that a black god/scientist by the name of Yakub scientifically made the white race.

Read their original books from the 50s and 60s and there are numerous instances of Farad Muhammad being referred to as Allah, as the All-Knowing God, etc. etc. There are also the testimonies of thousands of former NOI members (the original ones from the 50s) who will tell you that they were taught that Master Farad Muhammad was Allah. This might be an embarassing doctrine now, but history cannot be changed.

@AliYourBrother And yes, I as a Sunni Muslim do accept that there is a hadith with a sahih chain of transmission that reports "Qur'an and Ahle Bait" (instead of "Qur'an and Sunna"). That is not a problem for me as a Sunni. We accept and respect Imams Ali, Hasan, Hussain, Jafar as-Sadiq, and so on (just not in the way that Shias understand these same people and their roles).

He conveyed that the Qua-ran is the direct word from Allah and is holy and true(Message to the black man pg 92), yet his teachings conflicts with what the Qua-ran says. Ex. In the Surah 4:1, it communicates that Humanity(all people) come from Adam and his mate through procreation, yet Elijah Muhammad teaches that a black god/scientist by the name of Yakub scientifically made the white race.

The Messenger knew that he could not bring an Arab-oriented form of Islam to African people in America at that time (1930's). He had to introduce a brand of Islam that spoke to the reality that his people faced, which included Jim Crowism and segregation. Once you understand that, you can begin to appreciate the steps taken to bring the NOI into a greater understanding and appreciation of Islam.

Farakhan knows FULL WELL that Farad Muhammad was not God and that Elijah was not a prophet, but he will never come out and say it because he stands to lose too much in terms of power and position.
If W.D. Muhammad is lying, then how can Farakhan shake his hand, invite him to speak at Savior's Day, etc.? Farakhan knows that W.D. Muhammad is truthful but he won't admit that he himself is a liar.

Read their original books from the 50s and 60s and there are numerous instances of Farad Muhammad being referred to as Allah, as the All-Knowing God, etc. etc. There are also the testimonies of thousands of former NOI members (the original ones from the 50s) who will tell you that they were taught that Master Farad Muhammad was Allah. This might be an embarassing doctrine now, but history cannot be changed.

@AliYourBrother And yes, I as a Sunni Muslim do accept that there is a hadith with a sahih chain of transmission that reports "Qur'an and Ahle Bait" (instead of "Qur'an and Sunna"). That is not a problem for me as a Sunni. We accept and respect Imams Ali, Hasan, Hussain, Jafar as-Sadiq, and so on (just not in the way that Shias understand these same people and their roles).
