  • I also had to pay a $15 custom charge so that no electrical tape would be visible on the skirt and he added an extra three inches of wire to each lead so that they can reach the controls. Not real happy about that, but I love the pups. So, make sure he routes the hot and ground wires out the bottom of the pup skirt, adds a few inches to the leads, and wraps shielding tape so it isn't visible. Pete is going to reroute my leads for no charge, but I'm stuck with an extra shipping charge. Peace

  • I think the acoustic quality comes from the Koa top. No other guitar I have played has it.

Pete's pups are a little tall. I didn't have to route, but the neck pup cranked down flat against the body. The other two routes are deeper so the neck pup is the only issue if you want it further from the strings. Also, for some reason, Pete routed the hot and ground wires out the top of the pup skirt, above the channel where the wires lead to the control cavity. Major pain in the ass installing them.

  • I have a Mirage Koa that I had modded for a full sized humbucker in the bridge ~ I've read about these single coil sized P90s online, but never heard them before. VERY nice tones ~ almost acoustic sounding cleans, at times.

I've thought about replacing the Duncan Cool Rails with these in the neck & mid slots ... Did you have to do any additional routing to the guitar to install them?

  • Nice sounding rig...Ive got a set of his P90's coming soon.

  • ciao vendi la chitarra?

  • That is a sexy beast man.
