this is so old, looking back on how far Brad's popularity has taken him since this video. I'll wager a guess that this was taken in either 05' or 06'. Anybody that's been to one of his shows in the last 2 years knows how enormous the production has become. The stage is huge, with runways and lights and screens and all kinds of stuff. It's great

This is a great song...and this is a decent cover...but Brad Paisley hasn't gone through what Cash went though...and therefore will not be able to sing or play it with the same amount of soul that Cash did. So i don't hate the song, it's just nothing compared to the original...

Johnny Cash himself has done loads of cover songs and didn't "shit" all over them (although some were certainly not that good). There is a such thing as reworking a song and that is what Brad chose to do instead of just playing it like Johnny Cash on the original recording.
