don't listen to this guy!!! YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CARTRIDGE SCREWS TO BE PARALLEL WITH THE HEADSHELL!!! There's a reason you can adjust the cartridge compared to the headshell. You want the cartridge to be parallel with the vinyl groove. So it depends on your tonearm. With a curved tonearm like the technics you can stay pretty close to parallel with your headshell... with a straight tonearm you're going to angle the cartridge a bit.
ya know whats weird?? i have the m447 cartriges + stylus and i just changed my stylis to the n44g and the fucking plastic piece rubs my record like it's to fucking heavy??? WTF i thought they were basically the same needle
this video is wrong. All you need to do is to properly setup your cartridge is measure the tip of the stylus to the cuff of the tone arm and it should be 52mm. This is the proper way for playing, scratching and everything in between.

the weight recomendation for the Shure
m44-7 is 1.5 to 3 grams. DO NOT GO OVER THIS!! it will ruin your records and your needle.
