Amazing capture--I paused it many times--the lightning actually moved from the ground to connect with a larger bolt from the sky--rare to see it up so close-looks like you were less than a hundred meters away.

In 0:22/0:23 you can see the lightening bolt coming up from the ground and meeting with another fork that begins on the ground on other side of those houses. It was a forked lightening bolt viewed side on.

Awsome video, I live in Victoria, not this bad here at all! Remember being in Surrey one year and it was sooooooo loud, thought a truck crashed in to the house, that what it sounded like, the whole house shook, was crazy! LOL
