It bothers me seeing some people trying to justify this beating because his daughter "stole". She illegally downloaded music, she didn't commit a god damn robbery. Despite any circumstance, no child deserves to be brutally beaten by their parents. This video (and some of these comments) makes me sick to my stomach. The anticipation of giving her a beating is obviously inflamed by her evasion till he can no longer control himself - he could not have stopped himself even if he had wanted to. I watched the girl now age 22, yesterday on Dr. Phil. That said, this is not the right way to discipline a child or a teenager. The whole "I got beat with a belt and I turned out fine" argument is flimsy at best.

It's hard to watch, but this is how I was disciplined growing up. So were all my friends by their parents. It's not ok to spank your kids anymore, but I grew up in a generation where it was pretty normal.

Hilary should be hailed as a hero for exposing what her asshole father is really like. The very fact that he's a judge just makes it worse. What he did to his daughter is not discipline, it's assault and battery of a minor. Forget the statute of limitations, he should be arrested and tried. He should at least be removed from the bench immediately. His language is horrendous, saying the f-word to his own daughter. The mother is a bitch for taking part in it. Screw them! I hope they die!

This no good piece of slime and slop has now been revealed to be the filthy mouthed abuser that he is. No parent should let that type of language come forth out of their mouth in front of their child, and the mother is no better than the dad that she would use that type of language also in front of the child. To think that people in Arkansas lets this type of trash sit on a bench to judge them. I believe before it is over with, he will have to go into hiding now to protect himself.
