Come to the FREE Festivals Acadiens et Creoles October 9,10, 11. 3 stages and a big dance floor. You dance at bars at night. Stay at the Blue Moon Guest House hostel/saloon - inexpensive with free entry to the best Cajun dance hall in Lafayette Louisiana.

There are web sites for both. Everyone there dances and willl teach you. See the video under Joe Hall and the Louisiana Cane Cutters. BeauSoleil may play this year.

@irland1961 hey I can't dance for nothing but when you have Zydeco/ Cajun music going your soul knows what to do. You will dance great, and even if you didn't the people listening with you would just join in and love the fact your having fun.

This IS my favorite pair of songs in the whole wide world. And no one plays it like these Cajun boys. The venue looks wonderful, right up close to the band. And the dancing is a joy to see. What I esp. like are the many babies and children who are there.
