I think it is a very cool design however I don't like the fact that its only for players. I feel that the surrounding community should have something as well after all they are tearing down the community to build it. I think it would be great to incorporate something for them as well.

not really, its on the old michael reese compound... and as far as somethign for the residence... it will be used as mixed housing after the games. THIS "village" is being built whether or not the games come to chicago. Besides, can we really have hoards of fans walking around amongst the athlethes while they are trying to relax or train??
