There is no way this was done without model editing. These files have been removed from the game a looong time ago. It's impossible.

There was a "test" Outlands, before BC was released, and it WAS situated in an ocean -I just can't remember if it was between the two continents or off the east coast of the eastern lands. Also, it was possible to exploit terrain to get there, but I don't believe it's possible anymore, or it may have been removed.

Its difficult to say that you did this on retail considering that a GM or any other player would've done a /who on you and reported you for hacking/glitching, not to mention the mere act of bypassing or trying to bypass GameWarden would've had Blizz insta-boot you or something.

@jcdenton2k there was something called modelchanging which basically allowed you to do anything.. and it wasn't easy to detect. though most of the "advanced" modelchanges were made by actuall hackers and they transformed them into hacks which were detectabale as a third party program but if you changed the data client side you could get to outlands, gm island, developers island, black morass, old hilsbrad.. everywhere.. even in 1.x patches.

Moved to where? I looked in Sunwell with mapviewer, the new chunk of added land you hinted at, but unless you are using a model edit I dont see where it is.

The map you show in the video doesn't even have 2.4 yet, no Sunwell island, but it shows you in the original location of old outland's placement. (even though it was removed before BC release) /boggle give more hints!
