Good news! I just herd not 5 minutes ago on the local news that Judge Adams is on a two week suspension while the police investigate, further they said that the phones at the court have been ringing off the hook.

Btw, it is worthy of mention that his daughter that he was beating was disabled, and the indecent happened 4 years ago... I wonder how the video got out?

Yep when I originally saw this I cried my eyes out. I just can't stomach any sort of suffering. This is absolutely disgusting. I don't know why there has to be a discussion regarding religion right now with this specific issue. When I saw him beat her, I didn't see a Christian, I saw a man, a father, a judge, who has serious mental issues who needs help and needs to go to jail. Great video.

Well, she's in a pretty hopeless situation now (and there is another daughter, too?) but once she moves out of the house, it will all change. The power will switch hands. My grandfather disowned all three of his children, then he was just a bitter man in his fifties with no children, a dying wife, and no access to any of his grandchildren (the majority of which were half-black). Once he hit that particular fork in the road, he rethought his life.

Having the belief that you are above the rules that you enforce on others. if you actually believe that you embody the ideal of justice, and not that you are responsible to it, then it is perfectly natural for you to become an abuser.
