Example: it showed Axel, Roxas and Xion atop the clocktower; impossible in the present as Xion no longer exists in any form and Roxas resides in Sora. Then there's Ven and Terra in the Land of Departure; presently Castle of Oblivion. Plus, Terra's body and heart are just plain elsewhere. No, the secret ending proves nothing about them

At first Axel was afraid of losing his friend when he met Xion. But he became friends with her, and stayed her friend, even after discovering she was a replica. After roxas left, and Xion tried to leave he was just afraid of losing both of his friends, and angry that they weren't listning to them. He tried to save both of them, but ended up losing them both.
I know that the game wasn't meant in the context of yaoi, but you can clearly see and hear jealousy in Axel's voice, and by how he acts toward Xion. If not in a romantic way toward Roxas, in a fear of losing a well-loved friend? Although, that's just my opinion, anyway. :)

Heck I like all of the ppl she hangs out with!! Ppl are just overreacting i think.

This to me is the most emotional line in all of the games and I'm happy it was said to Xion and not Roxas. Yes, that friendship/pairing is cute, but Axel saying this to her shows how much he cared for Xion as well, that BOTH were equally important to him. Might this unknowingly add to the reason why Axel was so desperate to get Roxas back even though he could no longer fully remember Xion? An unseen force driving him to rescue his one last friend? god! every time i watch this i'm amazed! the whole scene is perfect, the music, dialogue- inflictions in the vocal tone and the MOVEMENT of the characters is perfect!
I know that this scene is really sad, and even I shed a tear or two while watching it in the game, but I've gotta say... Axel sounds pretty damn hot when he's pissed. xD
This is pure Axel in a minute and a half, passionate and completely dangerous -- and for all his scheming, able to see what no one else can, that this is wrong.

@troumo At least BBS had the idea that they MIGHT be able to come back, and even gave some hope for Xion and Axel. This just left you depressed in general.
@YourSoulEmbarks Xion was ready to go back to Sora, but Axel didn't want to let her go. He had just lost Roxas, Xion was all he had left. So he goes to get her, but she lets him know she has no plans of returning. He yells that she will be destroyed by the Org. if she doesn't come back then she summons her keyblade to let him know she is willing to fight him if she has to. Axel says she and Roxas are just being selfish. No matter how many times she runs away he will always come and take her back
I think in the whole entire series this scene is probably axel's best moment. He's always free spirited and lively and chill. Except for this scene. In some ways I think Axel was really jealous of Xion and wanted it to only be Axel and Roxas. I think most of what he did for Xion was really for Roxas. And Xion probably knew this.

you both think you can do whatever you want is the line that sums up this game in my eyes its such a great game for the ds which you would never expect my favourite scene along with the ending of kh1

Still amazes me this is on the DS I mean really thats pretty dang beutiful for it.
Still an emotional cutscene and I can admit I was cryin for a good portion of this game.

@YourSoulEmbarks Xion was ready to go back to Sora, but Axel didn't want to let her go. He had just lost Roxas, Xion was all he had left. So he goes to get her, but she lets him know she has no plans of returning. He yells that she will be destroyed by the Org. if she doesn't come back then she summons her keyblade to let him know she is willing to fight him if she has to. Axel says she and Roxas are just being selfish. No matter how many times she runs away he will always come and take her back

I think in the whole entire series this scene is probably axel's best moment. He's always free spirited and lively and chill. Except for this scene. In some ways I think Axel was really jealous of Xion and wanted it to only be Axel and Roxas. I think most of what he did for Xion was really for Roxas. And Xion probably knew this.
