OMG. I can't wait to get this but I have to wait until my B'day:( anyways I'd better cheer up atleast I'm going to the toyfair this year and I'll check out all the latest stuff (dad goes with work)
If I get one for myself for Christmas I'll have to make some modifications like adding a drive and steering motor, and adding an air tank. Maybe two, and make them look like fuel tanks
It is a very cool build but the booklets could be better, especially the colours in them :) I think i would attach an LEGO airtank to mine. It takes a while for the compressed air to reach the end of the crane boom and i think the air tank would help this.
Absolutely must have model from Lego. I love you ppl from Lego. IThis is so amazing. I only wonder why the older models are not available on the lego.com anymore? Where can one buy them from? Thanks
@chevyrocks54 you can't compare those 2!!! 8110 is flagship 8081 is a mid set. The technic flagships counts more than 1100 pcs + pf and costs more than 200$
hey, genau den selben habe ich auch. nur bei mir steht er, nicht 100% original, zusammengebaut im keller. nur bei dem alten truck wurde der kranarm auch über pneumatik gedreht.
I have not bought a Lego set in quite a bit of time... but I used to have hundreds of sets.... i want to be nostalgic and buy one of these big technic sets. what do you guys think? this one or the Motorized Excavator 8043? which one is more difficult to build?
@bacadd I have the Excavator and its awesome. Very challenging, but rewarding to build. It took me 2 evenings to complete. The finished model is a fully functional wireless excavator, with full range of motion and 4 motors. The Unimog is impressive (its huge) but I just don't like pneumatic kits. The crane seems very flimsy and difficult to control.
Very nice and detailed video about the biggest Technic set ever. Although I think I'm going to put the Lego PF switch in it, because of the bad switching of the battery box.
Very nice vidéo. Thanks
