You're right! There's nothing degrading about the word "amateur". Perhaps, I should have used the word "imitator". Even if someone was capable of "imitating" Freddie's voice absolutely perfectly, that does not make him worthy of "replacing" Freddie (and Freddie's voice was replaced in this Queen video).

Freddie not only score points for his wonderful voice, he also scores points for style, creativity, originality, etc. That being said, I'd rather Marc sing like Marc.

Some of the videos like this one, show Marc's video in large scale but, when I was editing this, I felt that making the original Queen video the visual focus and replacing the audio with his audition made for a more powerful comparison. When you hear Marc's voice coupled with the visuals it is hard to tell them apart and that is why I edited it this way. Thanks for all of the positive comments.

Mercury was gay, but he had his bisexual moments like most gays.

Martel looks exactly what someone would expect of a son of Mercury's. His voice makes the resemblance so uncanny it begs that question.

Martel is the right age to be such a child.

Regardless your video makes it extremely clear how his voice is almost identical to Mercury's

@Evster2012 No. He's often sung Queen songs. People have told him for years that he sounds like Freddie Mercury. There are videos of him from previous years here on YouTube. One is of Bohemian Rhapsody. Marc likes to imitate other singers but his natural voice is similar to Freddie's. He was trying to imitate Freddie in his audition.
