"Pete [Fountain] only joined the group for a gig in Chicago and one LP for RCA. This is probably Jerry Fuller."-- "djclarinet" (comment section of /watch?v=-hLT73VifzI)
there is good music in all eras, the job is to seperate what you like from what you don't like.I wish all people would give each era a shot at impressing the listener.I like ALL kinds of music to some extent, from Al Jolson to Ludicrus, just to name a VERY few...
@markantonymcwhorter ..I don't know about you but it takes me about ten seconds to determine what I DON'T like. Ludacris is among that group. Al Jolson isn't far behind. If it's not dixieland jazz by a GOOD band, I want to hear something like "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" , J. S. Bach....Played on a pipe organ. However I'll take good dixieland jazz over that most days. The Dukes are the standard against which others are guaged. The ORIGINAL Dukes with the Assuntos, not poseurs.
According to the Encyclopedia of the Stateless Nations(2002) the South is the second most populous stateless nation in the world. The fourteen states of the South have a population of 97,642,808. As an Independent nation the South would rank 12th in the world in population.
The Southern states have a combined GDP of $3.7 Trillion which would give an independent South the fourth largest economy in the world behind the uS, China, and Japan
