I was stationed at Ft. Bragg NC with the 82nd Airborne in 1983, when I first heard this sermon, I loved it then and hearing it a second time almost 30 years later is an amazing. I rejoice in just the hearing of this brother voice and tender heart for Christ. Praise the Lord for brother Lester!
It's really sad that people attack a man who cared and loved so much. He did great things for Christ, but, of course, there will always be wicked people who spread stupid rumors, maybe that's what he gets for serving the Lord, because when you serve the Lord, there will be persecution. It's just terrible though, that it's coming from the brethren. I know not to put my faith in any man, but I happen to know that bro. Roloff was a good man.
And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. 1Corinthians 4:12
I was at Bethesda, around 1973, I remember Aunt Dot and Uncle Bert and the many friends I had there and traveling to many southern states to sing. Never was there any abuse in any ot Brother Roloffs home. He is such a man of God. I remember going out to feed and milk the cows every morning, and the peace I felt there..I wish I could find some of the girls that was there when I was...God Bless.
My God! I thank God for dwelling among us, delivering us from the bondage of law and sin. I can only thank You with my life, Lord! Thank You for removing my stony heart of flesh, and giving me a new heart of flesh! Thank You for renewing a right spirit in me to love and serve You! I believe in the work that You will complete in me, which You began at my understanding of Your death on the cross of Calvary. But You died and live again! You are worthy, Lord Jesus, of all praise!
I am an alumni of the Lighthouse. I stayed there for 2 years in 1978 - 1980. I went there because I couldn't stop using drugs. I worked in the kitchen cooking for about 115 men. I sang in the Lighthouse traveling choir.
Bro. Roloff remains the dearest person I ever met.
I attended TTUafter leaving the lighthouse.
There was NO abuse in the homes.
Thank you Father for your work through Brother Roloff. May his testimony bring more to our Lord after his death than were saved in his life.
I have a Ras Tafari background and my wife has an SDA upbringing. We were both set free to praise the Lord in spirit and truth but this video has puts into words what we know has already been written on our hearts. Now we are able to go from glory to glory with our new heart, for we twain are one in Jesus.
Thankyou and we'll see you at the tree of life, glorified.
This guy is a hack. He HAD a boarding school close to wear I lived called Rebekah school for girls. The story he and his "fellow christians" told everyone the reason the school shut down was because of the state wanting them to get a license and they refused, that is half the story. There were so many accusations of abuse that a statewide investigation went underway, everyone knew it was true that lived around here. There are support groups for people that were scarred by this guy.
I lived there for 2 years. I can affirm there was not any abuse. He bridged the gap for me between no hope and drug addiction and a productive life, many years working, 2 beautiful daughters a college degree and a business of my own. He was a source of incredible blessing. You may very well believe he was "a hack" but if you really care, you shouldn't spread evil rumors.
I love you JESUS!!! THANK YOU SIR FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!! I JUST GAVE MY LIFE BACK TO THE LORD THANKS TO YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! I AM SO HAPPY NOW THAT I AM BACK TO THE LORD>>!!! HE JUST BOUGHT ME BACK!!!! I LOVE YOU BROTHER...I LOVE YOU!!!!
The Lord's blessings on you Extra. He knew you would come back. He always waits for us when we stray. He never turns His back on us even for a second. Amen & Amen.
