She is from calcutta. Its subjective but only she can say what she feels she is ,as in Indian or bengali or maybe both since once it was all India. She speaks bengali, her main language, as well as hindi. When asked she says Bengali ,if she feels she is she is. Bengalis have a lot of sensuality.Bips, Rani, Koena is mixed too. Your comment is very awkward. Bengali is an ethnicity and Indian is a nationality; India is made up of hundreds of different ethnicities. Bipasha doesn't get a choice between either because she is both. Of course she feels Bengali. She IS a Bengali, just like Aishwarya Rai is a Bunt or Kareena Kapoor is a Punjabi.

Bipasha is so gorgeous, John Abraham must be a very happy man! So what if shes dark? She stil looks hot and exotic. In UK when people say Bengali they mean Bangladeshi. It amazes me how little asians know about the sub-continent. Theres a state called West Bengal in India, that where shes from. Its Hindu majority, and BD is muslim majority. Unlike Punjab or Tamil Nadu/Sri Lanka we get along. Indians like to look down on BD but West Bengalis are nice.

As for appearance and language there is no difference between Bengalis and Bangladeshis. Bengali is an ethnicity that refers to people from West Bengal in India (like Bipasha) and also Bangladesh.
