acually im pretty sure its a boy cause do you see the way its wings and eyes act toward itself in the mirror. and it has a ring around its neck it is atleast 17 months.
wow! your male indian ringneck has very nice and muscly legs! how old is he? mine is nearly 2 years and still not as muscly as yours hehe! mine spreads his wings when he wants a kiss from me....
She was handled and handfed as far as i know. She just has a temper. She's much better since I posted that comment a month ago. It depends on what's going on. She doesn't like hands for whatever reason though but she'll get on your arm and anything else but she won't step up on your hand.
She's doing pretty good. I've finally gotten her to step up on my hand and she's a little better about being handled by other people. She doesn't bite too often anymore, usually when she does it's because something else already had her riled up. The main issue I have now is that she hates my other birds and gets jealous if I handle them, but I've worked out a schedule where I play with them separately.
No - Alexandrines have much more pronounced pink rings, larger beaks and are all-around larger birds. They're considered more of a "parrot" than a "parakeet" (although ring necks are technically parrots too).
OMG its cai! Logan my ringneck and Cai are friends. I used to bring hi by Cais when he lived in saint-annes. To bad he moved away :( Tell Erin and cai Logan says helloooo!

my bird does this when shes in a good mood (shes an IRN). It's the only time she'll let me pet her without her wanting to gnaw my fingers off.
