Prime it more next time you try that out. Don't just let it sit there at full throttle while trying to start it.

@maddog5483 if you pay attention I said I'm going to cut it off because it doesn't have any water in it, water probably won't hurt anything anyways since i keep a drop light in the engine compartment anyways

had a 99 caravel with one of thes 3.0's best on gas i ever had

@mc002crowe very good engine in my opinion, would like a bigger boat and engine to make bigger wake but this one is pretty decent for what it is, really good on gas as long as you don't just keep the hammer down
