Oh my ford, the Blitz, I can't believe it was on this show! I mean, the Blitz is so much a part of my life... I once dressed up my room as the Blitz...it was brilliant.

Wow, they've even got George at the door!

But I doubt he'd say 'Welcome to the Blitz.' He's more likely to just rifle through her hand bag...

My only questions are,

How did they get into the Blitz? They didn't look that freaky... and

Didn't the Blitz cloes down in Autumn 1980?

I thought this was the best bit in the whole series,prefered Mars.Steve Strange was in the Ashes To Ashes video,i liked the attention to detail complete with George on the door.

What's bonkers about this scene is how OLD all the clubbers are. Blitz Kids averaged 19 and naturally looked hot hot hot in their chosen look of the week, from Kim Bowen to Stephen Linard. And unlike some comments here seem to assume, it WASN'T a hangout for trannies.

Watching this again & the first thing that struck me was how much Gene defended Alex when Ray had a dig at her. The look he gives him is so intense. Then afterwards when he tells Ray to go, he looks really alone. Poor Gene, Alex should have kept him company & not been with that other guy.
