As of 30 minutes ago, me and the lead singer, Gaz, have something in common. This was the first thing I thought of listening to whilst sat in the back of that car. Now onto some Pink Floyd.
Damn it, I just watched Hot Fuzz (first time since 2007) and heard this song at the end of the movie. So I decided to find out the title, but it was quite hard for me, because my english sucks. Now I'm listening to this song 20th time in a row just as THEPANTSWEREDEAD said. :D
@THISISYOUTUUUUUUUUBE so cheap metioning Bieber....if we all ignore him he will go..but; if i had a dollar for every nutcase mentioning Bieber (like doucebag does) i would be Rockefeller...
Saw these guys at the Red Rose theatre Rugely before they got famous, one of the best gigs i've ever been to, one of the best bands of that era by far :) At least they were when I was doing my A-levels.
@ES4LIFE14 Yeah it is, especially when your young, its terrifying. Sure as hell know I've been keeping my socks up since, well at least when theres cops around lol.
One of their greatest!!!! I remember when this album came out, every single song on it was brilliant and so full punk rock energy!... and they looked like gremlins on the cover.
Damm, i had never thought of the Damned link. Probably more the post Brian Jame era, just before Strawberries came out.
Good call, i'll give you that one.
The song is one of the greatest songs ever. It wasn't huge in Australia, to tell the truth i haven't met anyone who has heard of it let alone like it. Big plus, it didn't get flogged to death on the radio...
How are Supergrass not huge in the U.S.? Caught by the Fuzz is such a powerhouse of muted aggression and frustration. Anyone ever hear them cover Neil Young? Awesome. If you like this power and are tired of what passes for rock these days, you should check out the songs "Rotten Tooth Captain," "Closer to the Door" and "Quieter Than the Crowd" from a great New York band called The Ghost Tongue. You can find them on myspace or here on youtube. They kick ass live.
THis takes me back to 1997 i was eleven and a half....i bought my first pair of doc martins..this compilation cd came along with it..this song was my fave!!!!!!!!
the people who started it all, Iggy and the Sttoges, Ramones, New York Dolls (who, by the way, all your Brit-fags were listening to!!) had nothing to do with real punk.
Same!!!! I had forgotten completely about it!!!!! when it first came out i was about fifteen and i absolutely loved it!! the only difference s that i herd it during trigger happy tv
