Either way, I'd sit through a hundred toots, if it meant that I could watch Tommy up close do his thing. Funny though. lol :)
Thank you for the Tommy Emmanuel videos. I watched them all and am grateful in picking great tips from the master! I saw his concert in San Diego. When I learned he exclusively plays by feeling and by ear... I decided to relearn the piano and guitar that way. Also I am incorporating that in my teaching to my piano and guitar students.
Thank you guys again for these great videos giving insight into some of the secrets of Tommy Emmanuel.

It's a custom mode made specifically for him, of which the 808TE series is based off of. (They're not exactly the same in terms of specs, btw, -woods are slightly different)
The big Bertha is probably his TE1 guitar, which he's had for way back into the 80s or something.
He's played matons for practically forever, but more recently he's been using special guitars given to and made for him by friends.
