Actually, it was awful, what happened to them. They were crap, coz the Brits approach Euro with such disdain they didn't have earpieces, so couldn't hear themselves. You can't get pitch if you can't hear yourself. It's sad-they were only kids. Their costumes weren't even complete...

Well, however badly they did in eurovision, they did not deserve the abuse that they suffered afterwards. So their live performance was below par! That's life-sometimes things don't go the way you want. They have NOT committed a crime or hurt anyone. They did not deserve to finish last either!

And remember that the UK have had far worse entries than this since then!

One thing I have to say. While Uk sounds off key, listen to Sertab for Turkey - fantastic song - but voice and keys are all over too. A few of the songs sounded just off. Turkey was definately the best song - but vocals wise, not much better than this!

I watched their interview after the disaster at the Eurovision Song Contest and they said when the music started, the playback system through which you hear yourself singing so you can pitch yourself when singing live had been cut. In short they had nothing to base their pitches on and that's why they sounded so bad live and because it was live, they couldn't stop but just had to keep going? Does no-one recall, the rumours the organisers did it on purpose to protest the UK's involvement in Iraq?

Yeah Jo O'Meara knew how to sing a little, well one seventh of a band, beign S club Seven. She also knew how to be racist with Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd. According to Tim Moore's book, they had no ear monitors and therefore could not hear themselves. That was gut-wrenchingly awful, wasn't it? Completely botched. One of the few nul pointers that did it by virtue (or vice, rather) of the singing rather than the performance.
