@mrskaterwhatever Just the 5 increasing notes they played is a cheer that we play in pep band called "Go, Fight, Win!" On trumpet it's C, E, F, F#, G.
Interesting, even though the trumpets are mass produced in a factory, they still mostly made by hand. I love the little trumpet ditty at the end with the guys who make them. That's the way to do it! :)
@Eljman85, I agree that xeno trumpets are good, and I did have a few of those but for any reason I have valves problem with those trumpets, with my stradivarius never had problems. But I'm happy for you that you have a nice Xeno trumpet.
@carloszamora0710 dummy! lol listen to Vizzutti play his Yamaha and Bergeron and Miyashiro and Shew and on and on lol hell even Doc left Getzen for Conn.
@Zvengeancex666 not at all, I just saying that a Stradivarius is the best trumpet for me, I have played many Yamaha horns and don't take me wrong they are awesome trumpet but not for me, I get tire very soon and I feel I 'm killing my self on stage.
@anbrass1 I had a strad also and I agree they awesome horms, but right now I'm playing on a large bore xeno and love it. You should give those a try, I've played on ML bore trumpets for as long I''ve been playing and at first when I got the xeno i felt some what diffrent, a little more open, especially in the higher range, but since then gotten used to it. Give those a try!
@anbrass1 not trying to bring you down or anything but any Bach strad or Bach of any kind I have played on has made me fight like crazy for pitch, in my experience, Yamaha trumpets are very easy tuning wise and produce a wonderful sound.
Uhm, Yamaha is totally missing the point of hand hammering the tube and bell....that is done to harden the material so it sounds better. But over 500° celius, it softens again, so the oven with 800°C sfotens it, making the hand hammering useless...
@andromedarr no it doesnt, its just a termic treat of the valves. you see, if you reach the austenitic phase and let the metal get cold really slow the change in the hardness is very little.
@javiergarcia1986 The problem is: The soldering that way is like annealing for the metal. It was hardened by beating it (thus compressing the structure) and when it becomes hot, the molecules relax again. Making it soft again, and of very similar density.
Me gustó mucho este video. Muy ilustrativo y además calla las críticas sobre los instrumentos Yamaha, pues dicen que se hacen en serie, pero con esto vemos que es un buen trabajo artesanal.
At 9:14 he said "it's stamped right here", however minutes before he said "other manufacturers stamp the logo on it which compromises the quality, but yamah does not". Ah well.

I really enjoyed this video! To see how much manpower is needed to produce an high class instrument, it's great.
I hope to find another video like this about the Japan-made bass-guitars.
