Amy, I tried holding the pendulum with the hand sign like you do, but sometimes the answer I asked about wasn't accurate. Is it that my hand sign holding the pendulum isn't right?

Hi Amy I'm 15 and trying this but I'm a little worried that's it's my hand shaking thats moving the pendulum so do I need to hold it when I ask a question ? Thx for the help

@tripelkiller360 try resting your elbow on the table and see if your hand relaxes. for most people, resting the elbow hinders them, but you might be opposite of that. Also focus on relaxing your wrist. good luck.

Hey Amy, Great videos! I have a question concerning them. I was asking a question using the tips in this video- have someone else answer, use the phrase "clear and unbiased answer", swing it a different way, and I felt very confident with the same answer I always got. I followed through with the question and the answer should have been no...so then what? I knew I was biased, that's why I used these tips, but my bias still leaked through. Is a pendulum just not for me? What am I doing wrong?

Before I checked the winning numbers, I asked my pendulum if it was worth x amount of dollars. It kept saying yes, but when I checked the ticket wasn't worth anything. I phrased it like so- "Please give me a clear and unbiased answer- is the lottery ticket I bought on April 11th worth $50,000?" Is the phrasing the problem?

@ashleys1247 yes, it's not really an ideal question because it's best to ask questions related to choices and decisions and actions you can take NOW, as opposed to things that have already happened. (ATC, is it optimal for me to buy a ticket this week? ATC, are these the most optimal numbers for me to play? How many tickets are most optimal for me to buy for this drawing? Is a quick pick the most optimal ticket?) Get the idea?

I think I am connecting with mine well and SO fast sometimes I will test it and ask, "Okay is it going to storm today?" or something to see what happens. I mean I LOVe storms, i wouldn't mind one but i got no :P I mean it said no to a few things i wish it had a yes. I guess it just depends *shrug*. I also wonder if it's your higher power, spirit guides or whatever controlling the pend. I make sure my pend is still before i ask too :)

@NorbieNDag awesome, but remember == when you ask predictions (will it storm today?) you don't get as reliable answers as if you ask questions focused around what you can control (is it optimal for me to bring an umbrella today?)

@Lemure333 hmmm...tricky question, since it is a prediction (which usually doesn't yield a reliable answer). A better question might be this: "Is there anything that I can do to ensure that I will receive more than $50,000 in this settlement?" and if you get no, then let it go and see how it unfolds. If you get yes, ask "What is there for me to do?" and listen to see what answer you get (then check validity with pendulum). Good luck !!

i asked my pendulum a question, and it said no. Later I asked it the same question, and it said yes. so i was shocked and asked it again, and it said yes. so now i don't know what to think. please i need your advice!

Is there any way to cleanse the pendulum like maybe by putting it in salt water or something so that it takes ones own energy faster?

@MYVloliDiruJP yes, you can certainly do that. Some people believe a cleansing is essential when they purchase or start using a spiritual object -- for me, it has not been required. Be careful with salt water, depending on what your pendulum is made from (non-precious alloy metals, certain crystals), it can possibly harm it. A gentle soap (like hand soap) and warm water works just as well, you can also leave it out in the moonlight under a full or new moon for the same cleansing effect. Enjoy!

I asked my sun to place my mobile in certain room in the house, and when I tried to know the place using the pendulum I didn't get the wright answer. Why do you think this happened

@xJag15x it's a spiritual tool, not a parlour trick. Why us it to ask an answer that you already know? Also -- did you take the time to calibrate before you asked the question?

Im not looking for a cheap trick to show off my friends, and yes i did calibrate it. I have an open mind about the topic and i asked it a question that i knew the anwser to to see if it got it correct, which it didnt.

@xJag15x then you may have resistance or blocks to using a pendulum. Testing to see if you get yes to a question you already know is yes is usually a trust-related issue. More details are posted at the full (free) ecourse

What happens when you do not believe your pendulum. I lost some movies and I asked my pendulum were they were and it said in my room and I searched every where in my room and I cant find my movies. Is it possible for the pendulum to be wrong.

yes, however, I recommend becoming proficient at using your hand before trying this. I have used an object hanging from my rear view mirror (no hands) to check in.

Consider that YOU are the one with the higher answers, and it is your energy infused into the thing (via holding it) that yields the answers you seek.

I'm not sure I understand your question. You already know the answer inside, but perhaps not at the conscious level. The pendulum helps you tap into your inner knowing. If the answer you get seems completely random, it's best to check to see if you have a bias -- and I explain specific ways to do that in this vid.

I see what you mean. Consider that the spiritual side of you -- your inner divinity, that which connects to all of life in this world -- can know things that there's no possible way that your brain or mind could know. And when you ask a question like you asked, you are tapping into that all-knowing part of you that is separate and distinct from your brain. Make sense?

generally speaking, the more relaxed and centered you are, the bigger the swing. The more tense or uptight, the less swing. Practice will definitely help, because practice helps you relax and gain confidence in using it. You can also ask it to "swing big" -- this works for most people

1. If you become more attached to a specific pendulum and trust it more than your other pendulums, will it produce different answers?

2. Does it matter if you look away while you're using your pendulum? My pendulum book says that you must keep your eyes on it, but I'm getting the notion from this video that you don't have to.

hi DemonicEmpress. Answers to your questions:

1 - it won't produce different answers, but other quirky things can show up. I once had a pendulum that would only answer questions of a spiritual nature. It became my "special" pendulum.

2 - in my experience, if I have a bias about something, I get a more accurate answer when I look away. I don't believe you 'must' keep your eyes on it. You could check in and see which is most optimal for you.

OK, so what you're saying in this video is that in order not to get a biased answer, you must ensure that the answer you get from the pendulum is completely random, and that you must always rely on the first answer since it is very common (as suspected from my side) that you get contradicting answers if you keep asking.

If something is important (more than what the dish I'm having tonight) lets say a job position, then I would never rely on a pendulum because there's no guarantee that it fits me

I started out using my favorite pendant on a chain (a necklace), then bought my 1st pendulum in a metaphysical shop. Since then, I have bought few and made many. We also make custom pendulums designed for healing.

Personally, I prefer to make my own pendulums - if you have access to a bead shop and some basic beading equipment you can make your own. I like to actually try out a pendulum before I buy it, so therefore I have never personally bought any online.
