@MLarson4401 Right now im using a pacifc 805 series with a 13 rack, 16 floor, and 24 inch bass. im going to get a 9x12 rack, 14x16 floor, and 20x22 inch bass since i already have the 7x13 snare drum. im getting them with the white ice wrap, it looks pretty sweet.

I don't know if I would like using it in a rock setting. None the less, I love being able to control exactly what i hear, i can turn down the people who aren't that good, or get off beat every so often ;)

what type of tom mounting hardware are you using?

a snare stand for the high tom and the floor tom came with legs. the high tom came with a mount that attaches to a stand but i prefer a snare stand

I'm going to be switching it from generic drum-set style on a stand to being on the floor and played with a foot pedal while I play guitar.

I got the smaller size because I thought the 14x7 might sound too deep with the bass drum pedal.

Every video I've seen the PP Snare has sounded amazing.

ive got a pork pie squealer and 13 x 7 i love it. and i played this set at guitar center and anyone thats been in a gutar center knows they never actually mute or tune the drums and it still sounded good!!

Ahh alright. Reason ui asked is because the sound is really close. The black brass is 6.5x14 and sounds killer. I like it with the die casts hoops better than the flanged that come stock on it. it just focuses up the sound a little more without sacrificing volume.

umm..the bottom snare head is tuned a lot deeper than the top.  i have the evans tension tuner and it makes things to much easier. its like 20 bucks and it takes like 2 minutes to tune all the drums. and yea, this is just a digital camera

yea man, this kit blows me away. I have just remo coated ambassadors and the bass drum is evans emad, the best ones i have had though are the pinstripe, hands down. but no it stays in turn amazingly. really really easy to tune and i barley have to keep up on them. only problem is finding a stand that i can mount the hi tom on. i'm just using a snare stand on it

I love pork pie kits.

The only drums that are better than pork pies (in my opinion) are DW's of course and a Rogers drum kit.

Pork Pie is one of the best though.
