@Grammeth0123 Yep, that's true. However, there are very very few black authors who write popular fantasy and science fiction. Octavia Butler was successful, but she has since passed on. I actually spoke with Ursula K. Le Guin in her interview about how most fantasy deals with non-black protagonists. Some of that might be because there aren't as many black fantasy/science fiction authors out there. I'm sure I don't need to say this, but I chose my guests on their books, not on their skin color.
You neednt say that, I know you didnt. I just felt so sad, realizing that I can only think of and come down to three black fantasy writers.
