I read her diary in high school to demonstrate how the more you write, the more able you are to express yourself and become a better writer. Horrible what happened to her, but hundreds of thousands of people have read her story and remembered it, not just as a sad story but a lesson in expression and determination.

The trial produced a study by official German handwriting experts that determined everything in the diary was written by the same person. I have not read Faurisson`s book, only an essay on rense that lists the essential findings of his research. Is it correct to say that the famous `philosophical´ parts are not from her hand but from some writer that her father had given the job of working on Anne`s diary to make the thing publishable ?

Read the Critical Edition of the diary. It has been thoroughly researched, authenticated, and makes clear that the diary, in fact, was written and revised by Anne while in hiding. Since its discovery, the diary has been published in various versions (most of which, until recently, had some material redacted).

This is a great video. Prior to going into hiding, Ann had a friend who kept a diary. She survived the holocaust and I believe she died in Vegas. This woman had some pictures of Ann prior to the war which she donated to the Ann Frank museum. It is unfortunate that few holocaust books are read by adults. It is hard for children to grasp the enormity of what they are reading.
