  • he supported the Gold Standard !

  • He and Dr Paul are twins in their philosophy!

  • These historians need to learn economics before they comment on the alleged failures of Grover Cleveland. I appreciate Grover Cleveland for precisely what the deem as failures-a laissez faire economic policy. Austrian Business Cycle Theory is something these historians could benefit from. It is funny that textbooks always hail "the great presidents" as the men who responsible for the most insensible wars or most interventionist policies causing lost of liberty. Historian r not happy w/o Big Gov.

  • @4:25,

The data shows several increases in charity, quality of life, and new businesses. Cleveland wasn't a do-nothing; he was a job-creator.

  • Something that historian needs to think about when he says Cleveland was stingy while spending government money: The only money a government has is that of the people the government represents. Grover Cleveland new that and made his decisions accordingly. A great man.

  • I love love Gover

  • Grover Cleveland will return for a third non-consecutive term!

  • Grover Cleveland was a great administrator and a fine, underappreciated President!

  • Cleveland was one of our finest presidents, and one of my three favorites along with Washington and Coolidge. All three had integrity; each respected the law and the U.S. Constitution; and each was honest. I believe the 1888 election was stolen by Harrison's supporters.

  • Fraser's insights on Folsom cut to the core of this giant and his young love.
