@twseel they are the names of the goalkeepers to which he scored...from the ones that beginning with A to the ones that beginning with Z...like the title of the video says...
That's the kind of player worth spending 80 milion Euro, but they don't exist anymore. Today's players are just seeking for high salaries, but no skills whatsoever. They shine for maybe a few months and then its all gone. Baggio kept a high level of skill over around 20 years. Find another one like him nowadays. And even if he missed the penalty kick against Brazil, this man was Italy's No.1 train.
If anybody has his goal against Perugia from his last season in Serie A, 2003-2004, upload it please. I think it's his only Serie A goal that 's not to be found anywhere here on Youtube. Thanks.
I always heard Baggio, before my country Nigeria played Italy in World Cup 1994, I always wondered what made him spectacular to be made World Player of the year, But guess what After Italy won Nigeria I realized what made him spectacular, I guess i would always watch that goal he scored against Nigeria, It was an artistic goal, it was not a shot , more of a tap, even though italy was behind and they had three minutes left, he did not play a shot like most players would, he only sliced the ball
I sometimes thinkk back n the 'baggio days' and i shed a tear at the thought of him not acheiving the heights he deserved ! He should have been luckier. He coud play now and still be in the top ten players in the world he really was that good ! Love forever Baggio you made me fall in love with football.
The great problem was that he never found a true sense of place on a team after juventus and in heindsight juve were really only using him as part of their rebuilding era.
I think the best thing he could have done was to stay with Vicenza for his whole career, it would not have been conventional, he would not have made as much money but look at pele with santos or maradonna with napoli and boca.
For me, R. Baggio, Maradona, Romário, Ronaldo, Zidane and Pelé are the 6 best players off all time.
we stay "in love" with them, because they are not only the best players: they also generate a strong empathy, a sense of art and pleasure.
Calcio: ball control, passing, vision, shot -- scoring, speed of execution and processes, speed in running with the ball, creativity, strength, intuition, dribbling, intelligence, harmony, style-art and spirit !!
I am an Inter fan, by I think probably Fiorentina was the club that really got under his skin and maybe Brescia, because he showed until the end there why he was il Codino Divino
You always hear people go on about certain players being the best... And I'm not trying to take anything away from those players...but people always forget to mention Baggio. The guy is still the biggest missed player of all time. I'd go so far as to say that I'd rather see him than Pele.
fenomeno!

Baggio, what a legend! I worshipped him when I was younger.
I was hoping him to miss the penalty against Chile (my team) in France 98, but he scored. haha anyway!
Great guy, outstanding player. To this day, I miss a player like hime.
