If you all like this "soap opera" version of Tudor history go read the real stuff and you will be horrified. They were a vile, corrupt, cruel bunch of everything that is disgusting about the RC church and royalty and the sycophantic entourage that surrounded them were ambitious and ruthless. Catherine of Aragon, poor deluded creature that she was suffered appalling treatment by that bastard Henry. It is a fascinating period of history but it has been done to death both in books and film.
