I hate this PC with a passion. Its got a silly side loading cd tray that LOOKS smart but increases the risk of the cd/dvd slipping as the tray is closing which mine has done

@willmugz1 i own this pc myself have done for a year, games that have worked fine are left 4 dead 1 and 2, fallout 3, the godfather 2, games that havent worked so well (laag slow frame rate etc,) Bioshock 2, GTA4, lost cause 2, its a nifty little machine i got it for £250 just the case and have it hooked up to an LCD using the onboard HDMI port if your not looking for mad gaming like crysis and what not this machine is a pretty safe bet. hope this helps!

@willmugz1 not really but just get a low profile card like the sapphire radeon hd 5570 for like 70 bucks and you've got a pretty powerful machine.

Ordered this for my dad. The graphics card is placed almost at the top of the case. Gets very hot and there is not another fan to blow out the hot air. The top of the case is warm. Its running @ 52-55. A case vent an additional fan would help. I assume the life of the card will be shortened. There is not enough clearance for a bigger fan on the card itself. Anyone have a fix for this?

I really want to buy one of these but I can't find the U9052 model anywhere, just the U 1302 which doesn't have a dedicated video card. Really want to get a media center PC with a big samsung monitor for the summer.

This is a common problem with this model (put model number in google along with power button problem).

Other acer "mini desktops" suffer the same issue.

I'm currently looking for a new PC,was going to buy one of these,so did a little reseach first.

before you do i have solved the problem, on the power switch push the left top corner (the highest point on the switch) this works first time.

the computer is fantastic and really fast because of the 3 processors. id think twice about buying a diffrent computer.

yeah its working. on the power button press the top left corner and it turns on first time. if you want ill do a video and show you :)
