@GovernmentSham912 look at his voting record man all kind of unlibertarian votes where cast by him, he also was a big supporter of the war on drugs, and prevented medical marijuana from being legal in DC, after the public voted 60 something percent for it, supported the patriot act, actually tried to get practicing one of the religions think it was wiccan banned in the military. The libertarian party even ran ads against this guy.
He's a recent, self-declared convert to libertarianism. If I remember correctly, he ran under the Libertarian Party ticket which helped sabotage McCain and the Republicans (not that that's bad). For this reason, some suggest that he was a shill for the opposition. Whether he is or not, I don't know.
I don't know either. I mean look at John Stossel, he use to be a big government liberal, but he switched to Libertarian and since then has always had a Libertarian position on issues. Both personnel and economic freedom.
