Whenever I'm feeling sad, I listen to this song. Whether it was watching Clannad, the ending of GL (still hate Gainax for that), or something in real life, this song calms me down, and makes me like everything will be okay.

i cant decide what genre it is though. its kinda like Cyberpunk, but its missing the 'punk part'.

It's precisely because this show was never intended to fit some genre (except perhaps being aimed at children and families) that makes it so wonderful. I doubt we'd see a Dennou Coil today. It's too unique and doesn't appeal to the otaku audience.
