  • I am a big guy 280 lbs only about sixty lbs over wheight believe it or not are you suggesting I drink more than a gallon of water before noon. Is this safe. I have heard (probably urban legends) about water poisoning.

  • TY nice video

  • how about just drink water in the morning till your thirst is quenched. duh.

  • I love that kitchen, that's what I want, a gas stove, oh yeah, the focus is the smoothie and water

  • I believe the formula is for your daily water intake, not just morning. I found the same formula used on a fitness site.

  • This guy talks a load of SHITE!!! lol how embarrassing

  • I just totally love your videos.

I find that I am his motivation so therefor I can not let go of my motivation for a second.

I am looking for a group of people in my area who share my goals of raw and high raw living. I f yo have any suggestions please share.

  • 240 lbs./2 = 120 oz. water = 3.75 quarts water in the morning.almost a gallon of water in the morning??????.what about dudes a lot heavier.guy at work is 340+ pounds.thats 1 gallon plus about a quart and a half.all take this rule as just drink a lot of water in the morning.wow wee!

  • @dieselmac

Yeah, I know, tons of water. The bigger you are the more you drink. And the more leafy greens you drink the more of that weight will strip away and the less water you will have to drink with this formula. Once you start drinking the water you will start to really enjoy how you feel, the same is true with the smoothies. You will just crave them.

  • Your body can regulate your water needs. Drink when you thirst. The 8-glass a day thing was based on a misinterpretation of previous research.

  • Even cancer can be prevented with the consumption of fruits and vegtables, green smoothies help your body in so many different ways its ridiculous not to drink one a day.

  • This is cool, I've been drinking about this much in water and smoothies most mornings. I'm glad I've been on the right track. About 2 years ago I started to make an effort to drink a big glass of water everytime I pee.

  • if you want more people to visit your site then put a link to it in your description

  • So do you go pee like every 15 minutes in the morning after drinking all that water?

  • Hi there,

    Thanks for the question.

I drink a bunch of water first thing when I get up. Usually about a 1 quart mason jar full with a little lemon. That can take 20 minutes to a couple of hours. Then I'll have another 32 ounces of smoothie.

Anymore I end up just having water and a pretty hearty smoothie up until lunch time then I'll eat a meal.

And yes then I drink water off and on the rest of the day.

Do the best you can with water. It takes some time to get used to.

  • Can you eat anything during the 4 hours that you are drinking all this water? Do I still have to continue drinking water the rest of the day?

  • great advice re water. I came to the same conclusion myself some time ago.

  • That is good advice. Everything except using a mason jar. Think about it; walking around drinking out of one of those jars. You might look like you're drinking moonshine!

  • That was so helpful. Thank you very much!!!

  • sweet i ve been doing that on my own for 3 years and if i have nt had at least 1.5 litres of water before midday i panic cos when i dont, i feel rough and stiff (affecting mobility and athletic performane) for the rest of the day! glad to hear i was on the right track...when i wake up before 8 i normally drink more but also smoothies and teas great way to add water in the morning...if you have a big comforter you sweat for hours during sleep + recovery from exercise needs water etc etc

  • Man, those Mason Jars are the Dolce & Gabana of drinking glasses and jars for drinking the green fuel. But where do you get them at?

  • walmart has them really cheap.

  • Nice Video, such great benefits drinking green smoothies.

  • BlakcberryJ: u r right. So, how do u take care of raw cruciferous vegetables: like kale etc as they do seem to interfere with "thyroid function"? And green smoothies are predominantly using Kale etc.

Interestingly, that Boutenko family that made it so popular...they cured themselves of "severe thyroid problems".

How to take care of the constipation while consuming smoothies everyday? Banana also has this effect, I've seen.

RJ or Blackberry kindly throw light on these issues!

  • I use frozen fruit, apple and kale or spinach. My skin is softer and clearer, I'm regular and my nails and hair is longer. I am also going to add cucumber b/c of silica. Its amazing whta greens do for you in greater concentration than a salad.

  • Love the water formula - thanks RJ!

  • congrats on the elbow.

  • be careful with the raw cruciferous vegetables, since they have goitrogens which could lead to goiter. and be careful with using bananas in green smoothies, because I became seriously constipated after using bananas as a base for my smoothies, LOL!

  • Hey blackberryjuice, I've heard from you before on these cruciferous vegetables. Have you had any good experiences with green smoothies?

I think you mentioned starting up a green smoothie bar in New York. Are you still heading in that direction? I think it would be one of the first. Let me know so I can come for a visit.

I have found that my body simply has had to adjust to the high quality, whole, raw foods I now drink every day and now I crave the greens. Yum Yum!
