Despite not being the heir to the heavy crown MGS 4 left us with, this still looks friggin' awesome, if only for gameplay's sake. The "cut what you will" element just seems amazingly well done in this trailer. One thing that *really* concerns me is this; I'm German, so there's no chance the game will be released this gory in my country. Fuckin' censorship butchers every second game that hits the market. Back in the day, when Soldier of Fortune 2 was the shit, they replaced humans with ROBOTS!

if guy ever played mgs4: guns of the patriots...SPOIL ALERT**snake doesn't die...so maybe mgs5? supposedly hideo kojima wasn't aware of the ps3 capabilities (used half of ps3 processor) so he didn't make mgs4 as best as he could, and is rumored to come back for another one...mgs: rising is most likely going to be raiden's part of mgs4

So, this means that Snake is gone? If so, there is no point in playing this, because the game was originally called Metal Gear Solid, and was based on Solid Snake from Foxhound. Its like taking Transformers without Optimus Prime, or Batman without Batman... GIVE US BACK SNAKE!!! Or maybe the producer canned him due to his aging process... bummer.

@Jolie725 Well the game was not called "Solid Snake" and there's been a lot of games in the series that haven't starred Solid Snake, because although he's a clone of Big Boss, it's not the same character. You can't expect to always be using the same character because at one point or the other it will get repetitive.

2. This game is multi-platform as his site has the game registed under both PS3 and Xbox 360.

3. Xbox fans dont get too excited as you are getting only a spin-off of one of the best series ever made.

@sketh0 Should read my other comment. Anyways, time and time again developers have proven that multiplatform games usually actually look a tiny bit better on the 360. Besides the graphics (which are beautiful), 360 users will probably be getting the same features. I don't care if it's going to be on 2 discs or not, it's the gameplay I care about.

@BCBtheBeastlyBeast they tend to look better on the 360 cause its coded for the 360 and converted from that to the ps3 so the ps3's look lesser, dvd quality on a blue-ray will make it look worse, this will probaly be coded for the ps3 then converted to the 360, and i've read several times that the 360s wont be as good

@sketh0 Where did you read that??? I've heard that it's easier to code for Xbox 360, so coding it for PS3 first wouldn't make sense. Either way, with the skill of the Kojima team, I'm sure the differences won't be very noticeable in the end :)
