  • Ron Paul 2012! Baby!

  • I listened to this with the Benny Hill theme in the background and it made my day!! The brush holder is a smart idea!

  • love this!!!

  • good vid :)

  • Hi I've been getting more into makeup this year than ever before and I was wanting to know before I go buy brushes what the purpose if having large amounts of brushes and what do they all do differently and why u need so many it seems people have ALOT

  • @ZebraLove67 there is no actual point of having a large collection of brushes, most people have a maximum amount of brushes because you could create multiple looks with a lot of brushes, makeup seems easier. also, you could get the wrong impression of some people. some people are makeup artists, & you wont even know. having a lot of brushes can make you seem more artistic than you really are though ;) lol!

  • @MakeupTeen94 Thanks Helped alot :)

  • @ZebraLove67 sweeet :)

  • @ZebraLove67 but you should make sure you clean alll your brushes multiple times a year. atleast every week. reason being, because of product buildup, dust buildup. and that product and dust buildup attracts and develops bacteria. and you dont want that bacteria on your face and eyes! also, as soon as you buy your brushes and bring them home, clean them! because they often have dust on them. i use extra virgin olive oil and dish soap.

  • @ZebraLove67 the extra virgin olive oil removes all build up of product. but you MUST make sure you remove alll the olive oil off the brushes, especially your foundation brush! because you do not want to put more oil on your face! but extra virgin olive oil is a good makeup remover and is very gentle on the face! the dish soap works as a sanitizer. it cleans the brush of any bacteria. Hope this all helps :) if you need any other info, you could ask me!

  • lol i do this with rice with my brushes -____-

  • how often do you replace the filler beads due to dust i'm wondering?

  • @nakedcowgirl you should replace the beads about every 2 months or every 4

  • If the brushes are facing up, there will be dirt and bacterias on them... Anyways, really cool vid !

  • Will the filler beads scratch your brushes?

  • @Random1987K they shouldnt.

  • now everyone is doing this

  • very nice.

  • this all started from you EnKoreMakeup! :)

  • everyone does this now.

  • Hi what is the size of the container you are using??!!!

  • hi, does these small vase fillers scratch the brushes by time?

  • I just wanted to share with yall the awesome brush holders I bought from this very nice man who makes them and sells them on ebay. He makes them by hand and will work with you on design, size etc., they are very well made( solid wood) and best of all I paid only about $15 + shipping for one. He is very honest, has 100% positive feedback and if you have more than 30 brushes then this is the way to go. I bought two and painted one black and one pink, very cute. His ebay id is dickk52. Check it out.

  • Hi - could you tell me the dimensions of the acrylic holder, and how much ColorFill you needed to fill it (what size bag)? I've got 3 holders now, myself, and need to figure out how much ColorFill I need to buy for them. Thanks!

  • awe, your so cute! haha i'm gonna go get some of those beads tomorow! (:

  • if u r in the uk search for clear poly pellets.

  • i moved my betta fish into a different bowl so i cleaned out his bowl and used my extra aquarium rocks for my brushes! now all my brushes aren't floating around my bathroom counter top.

  • @TUCWT lol :)

  • @TUCWT I did the same... Couldn't find the colorfill thingy

  • Question, won't plastic beads scratch my brushes? I did it with styro beads and it's so annoying bec they're so light it scatters all over!

  • they also have the vase filler things at the dollar store. they are called glass crystals

  • Thank you so much! I've been looking like crazy for the beads so I can make one of this by Dec 24th!

  • on ebay i just bought coloured (pink!) sand and a glass cube and ive got some cute polka dot ribbon to put a bow round the base <3 x

  • Wow, I never thought of that. I had a heavy plastic square one and it kept tipping over, now I just need filler!

  • which section of michaels can i find the jar in? if i ask an employee for an acrylic jar i'm not sure if they'll know what i'm talking about. thanks :)

  • @annabandanaa they'll definitely know what your talking about.

  • Also u can use BEACH SAND for free is ur near one

  • @classiccharm15 Sand may scratch your brushes though

  • awesome! now i gotta head out to michaels to get vase fillers! haha

  • can u do a video of making your own like mini drawer because my things are not so organised

  • . what can i use instead of the filler thats in it? i NEED filler... like now. i have glass beads but they make my jar messy

  • Will these scratch ur brush handles

  • Very cute, very easy and very cool.

Those beads won't damage the brush handles as river rock pebbles might do .

    Thanks :)

  • does anyone know if the "vase filler" comes in different colors? or is there a way to dye them?

  • do you have a tutorial for an eyeliner/ brow pencil organizer?

  • i cant find that kind of jar anywhere

  • The Beginning song is so catchy!!'

I made one and i love it!!

  • really great video.I loved the idea and it really looks great:).

  • can u put double sided brushes in there? I made one but some of my makeup brushes are double sided, and I dont know If I should put them in there.

  • @Puertoricanbeauty22 I wouldn't put the double sided in there... it will probably warp the bristles on the side that's facing down.

  • you can use colored sand:) if thats easier.

  • would that harm the brushes?

  • no, store bought sand is less grainy than actual sand. and if thats still a problem, i sometimes use little pebbles, like for turtle tanks. the stones are a lot smoother.

  • hey koren! this is such a cool idea but i was wondering if doing this would scratch my mac brushes? thanks!

  • I went to Sephora for the first time the other day and thought it was so neat how they keep their brushes like that. Im def going to try this out, thanks!

another great vid man ! TY !

  • Cool Idea. I would try Walmart or Target maybe even a JoAnns store and just find a vase I liked that had a wide mouth on it.

  • AAAWWEESOME!!!

  • where can i find that acrylic jar i been searching like crazy some tell me please cause were i live we don't have michael's stores!!!!

  • any craft store

  • i was just thinking that it might not be a good idea to leave brushes out like that (germs, dust, etc.) i never even thought of a cover, duh! thanks so much, both ipr1ncessi and enkore. i think i'm going to do this with my brushes~!

  • Now that's what I'm taking about, nice and simple! Off to the craft store I go!!

  • I think this is the prettiest brush holder so far... ^^

  • is micheals like hobby lobby?

  • Yes. Micheals, Joanns, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore...all of those carry this stuff.

  • yes but hobby lobby has more sewwing stuff if you sew and or into fashion. but for the most part it is :]

  • what is the filler made from?

  • so its ok to keep your brushes in open air like that?(meaning not in a brush roll or case)..there won't be any problems with dust n stuff getting on them?..

  • Cool! That was easy, hahaha! Thanks a lot!

  • That's great! ... unless you're like me... And a complete klutz... And you knock it over... -walks away shamefully-

  • cute:)

  • can i get that clear jar at hobby lobby?

    wat is it called

  • its just an acrylic jar with lid

  • I love it , thank you so much !! : )

  • why is it called 'sephora inspired' ??

  • because sephora sells it but for a lot more money

  • So simple but so cool!

I've got a lovely jar I wanna fill it up with vase fillers,Hope I can find those fillers in a bunch of different colors

  • Im gonna do this

  • I can see myself knocking this over and spilling everywhere haha

  • haha me too!

  • thank you ...you are the best!!!

  • OMG!!! THX!!!

  • That's very creative :)

  • they have it at wal mart to

  • Can some one know how those beads called? I couldn't find on michael craft. Can someone give me a link. Thanks . Love this ideas and beads

  • They they are called "fillers" -- fillers for vases.

  • does the filler scratch the handles of the brushes? probably not because you're doing it otherwise you wouldn't use that hehe, just curious =]

  • can rice work ? LOOOL .

  • ahahha, yeah. i was thinking of rice.

  • hahahahah meee too!!! :D rice was the first thing that came to my mind that seemed like a goood alternative. i think i just may use rice haha!

  • Can we use.... kitty litter ? LOL :))

  • Went to Michael's, Joanne's, Target, AND WalMart yesterday and today, and couldn't find acrylic vases or small round pellets--just glass vases and marbles. So depressing! Now I'm looking on the Internet for the supplies. Would bean-bag filler pellets work? Wouldn't feel as elegant, but I won't tell the admirers. ;)

  • hi enkore im just going crazeeee bcause i dont know the name of the white thing ( ice, pellet, the fill thing?) can you just tell me how to find the white thing to fill my decorated makeup holder.....please please

  • The white stuff is called vase fill. There's a whole aisle of that kind of stuff at Michaels. I used these really tiny clear pebbles that are used for the same thing. So just go to Michaels or any other craft store and look for vase filler.

  • i love the bath crystals idea, but if you are already using some other filler, add some kind of carpet fresh type powdered product to it. Does no damage to your brushes as scented oils or any liquid product would and adds a great scent to the brush and whatever room the containers are in.

  • All ur vids are the best....love em ;-)

  • love it! thanks enkore :)

  • Perfoct Brush holder, got many options for the beads..

    Thank u

  • EnKore thanks i loved this video.. really like the idea, perfect for my brushes!!

can u please come up with a way to organize eye shadows, i checked the paper organizer that u've made but my shadows are in deffferent sizes.. they arn't all MAC EYES SHADOWS!!
