Is it just me (it could be), or is there something really unlikeable about Priscilla. I just sense of snobbery and distrust all around her. Nobody knows when Elvis and Priscilla started sleeping together - it was PROBABLY in the early 60's when Elvis got out of the Army - they MET when she was 14 and Elvis was in Germany. He DID move her into Graceland after he was discharged - probably about '62 or '63. If you read Guralnick's second book on Elvis , he has been very honest throughout it and checked out the facts from many sources who were staying with Elvis and they all said he respected her age and did not do anything that would have got him into trouble, plus he was too well brought up, Southern gent and his mother's influence. Priscilla confirmed this is many interviews too, plus her dad, an army Colonel at the time who Elvis respected. Say no more.

She visited his house over a 6 month period where his father & grandmother also lived plus he had a bunch of other gfs--all of age! After he left Germany in 3/60, he came home to date Anita Wood who didn't leave GL until 8/62, & have affairs with leading ladies. Pris dated boys in HS. She made two 2 wk visits in 62 at age 17 & moved in 3 yrs after Elvis left in 63 at 18.

She does talk about more sexual things happening on those 62 trips, but doesn't show much in her movie. It is reversed for when she was 14: in her book she only talks of kissing & cuddling, but shows some petting in her movie. She also shows Elvis stopping it because she was "too young."

@BardleyCfan NO girls did NOT lose their virginity earlier in the 1950s. They had a "good girl"/"bad girl" ideology then, and a good girl was to remain a virgin until marriage. There was also a double standard that said it was okay for the man to have bad girls on the side who "put out" since his girlfriend didn't. Because of this, girls DID get married younger--15 or 16 was not unusual. Elvis and Priscilla DID NOT have sex when she was 14, & she was almost 18 when she moved to Graceland in 63.

Did some checking. She was born in 1945. She met Elvis in 1959 at the age of 14. She married him 8 years later on May 1, 1967 (that was one year before I was born). So she was 22 when she married Elvis.
