Tony and I went to Five Towns College together back in 1980 - 82. He was playing drums then. I first saw him busking sometime in the mid 90's and told him straight up, he plays the pots and pans better than he ever played a real drum set.

@ihopveggan : sorry to hear your dad isn't in your life, but of what I know of him, he's basically a good person. Fame is a very fickle and fleeting thing, especially for black artists. I hate to say it, but we as a people are not the most loyal fanbase over the long haul. You're only as big as your latest hit is a very true cliche for black artists. I myself have reached the point that I feel at my age if fame hasn't come already, for get it, it's not coming.
