Oh, how I love this: what great memories it brings back for me. Thank you so much. One of my all-time greatest tracks. Good taste and musical rhythm will out. (The 74 dislikes were obviously from those looking for THE WEATHER GIRLS!!!).
Don't like this remix. In this video, they have the chorus coming after the first verse and vamp (things ain't cookin...in my kitchen) which is wrong. BUT HEY this song is absolutely AMAZING so why should i quibble..
2511 people must like listening to CDs skipping because that's what the last half of the song sounds like. I wonder how the band was able to be so creative in writing the last half of this song
How do 2511 people like this song?! This is the worst song ever! There are only 7 different words in the whole lyrics! I can write a song too if all it takes is writing 1 sentence and repeating it 984 times
Just a friendly FYI, 61 through 63 T-birds were that design with minor cosmetic changes each year. 64 brought the next major re-design. By the trim visible in the video it is a 61. cheers!
@chanorsi Yeah, I was right in the right area. 64 was a major redesign where they made the T-Bird a 4 seater. Before that, it was a roadster (2 seater) with, like I said, the flower pot tail lights and such. Cheers from Boston MA.
It is a constant 72 degrees with occasional light showers, a slight breeze in alpine clean air, with the palm trees swaying along on a sunny Sunday morning...
I have to disagree with you on the bands origins KneesTease. This group is from (was formed in) Australia although the lead singer and later band members are Kiwis.
i live in brizzy but ima kiwi and yeah aussies do try steal everything.. i was reading a magazine n it had the top 100 aussie movies that aussie blokes should have and it said Once Were Warriors!!! and then after it said " Traditionaly a kiwi movie but we claimed it as one of our own" haha like fuk that movie there is 100% kiwi....
@clearnormality I know, i know Rebecca Gibney Sam Neill Russel Crow Cal Wilson and then Scribe, LadyHawke and Crowded House... we're sorry for taking credit for your awesomeness... but on the other hand aren't you flattered? We wouldnt take credit for them unless they were cool. That's some endorsement of Kiwi culture and talent. You can have Kylie Minogue, im sure no one over here will mind much.
This song makes me fill like im missing out on like life. Like I'm standing behind glass and just watching and hearing people do amazing things but I'm unable to brake free and blaze my own trail.
Why cant you hear Music like this in the Charts these days, such a feelgood tune and its a REAL Song, not some Commercial shite about the biggest the Trend, and who you're shaggin.
Today's mainstream music is vastly inferior to that of the 90s and before. Show me someone who disagrees and I'll show you someone with a fourth grade grasp of the english language.
The band is Australian not Kiwi. Formed in Melbourne, Australia. Band members come from around the world, New Zealand (Neil Finn, Tim Finn and Eddie Rayner), Australia (Paul Hester, Nick Seymour, Peter Jones and Craig Hooper) and the United States (Mark Hart, and Matt Sherrod) though you should note that the majority come from Australia.
@pHaZe017 Colin Hay was originally Scottish but Men at Work are still considered an Australian band.
The band was not formed by Neil Finn alone. it was formed between Finn and Paul Hester in Australia with the majority of members being Australian. Their success first came from the Australian music scene.
@narcoleptic86 I'm from Canada and we've always seen Crowded House as a Kiwi band. You Aussie's are almost worse then the American's always trying to steal Canada's thunder. Crowded house are a New Zealand band.
@smackyo True that half the band is made up of Kiwis but it was formed in Melbourne and has Australian and US band members so it's not entirely unfair of us to claim it. However, it is annoying when we do it to every single successful act that comes out of NZ to try and beef up our rep, which detracts from the Kiwi rep.
where is Tim Finn in this? The background vocals are him, and it's a pretty prominent and distinct voice he's got... ya never know with the history of friction between Tim and the band...
I think I was born 20 years too late; Crowded House are my favourite band in the whole entire world and I'm only 18. It would've been fantastic to see them circa Woodface (well, anytime during the 80s or 90s honestly!) :) They're still absolutely amazing now though! :)
@AmyW752 I feel the same way Amy! I'm 23 and Crowded House have been my top band for at least 5 years now! At least they're still making good music :)
this song reminds me of feel good times with my mates down under!...you know-beautiful sunny days! with a nice breeze-smokin meth with my mom...just good ole times...a little crack with my dad in the morning....we used to pipe up and just fly by the seaside laughing...man those were some precious childhood moments i will never forget...ahh the romance

A great kiwi and aussie classic. Reminds me of my Family And I going down to the beach and eating fush'n'chups with watties tomato sauce, Snapper fish and L&P. Great song, Great Band, Great Era!
I've got this song in my cellphone as a ringing tone- and guess what; everybody's asking me like: wow what's that sound, where did u get it, who's the band, can u send that to me via bluetooth etc. etc. and I always just say that if you don't know then then you don't know them.. and you can also guess that after that I get a couple of teethgrinding looks on my way.. :)
@eralcalde Where ever you are, you can bring good spirits and happiness with you. You don't need a sunny day to feel good if you "take the weather with you."
@NigerianRocker You are truely right .. I got that feeling to .. and also with classic music .. and it is the same as you said .. :( ... the music from this age .. is nothing compare to the old music ... man ... this is MUSIC ... amazing
@jpmcarmo No, this is definitely not the 80s. This song was released in 1991. From the album that was released in 1991, that was written/recorded in 1990 - 1991. No 80s to be found here.

I'm seeing this bloody brilliant band at the Isle of Wight festival in a weeks time. Me and 49,999 other people drunkenly singing along to this song? I think so!
