Nothing will happen if you crash ,the tanks have a automatic shutoff value in them .They do make a special tank for car installation but it's not cheap

Cng gas is the way to go at a 1.65 a gallon

Cng gas is the way to go not propane ,you can still run your car on regular gas and use cng to add more mpg ,or just use cng at lower speeds or in town stopping and going.The newer cars will pick up to much gas in the system and cuts back on regular gas
