I haven't read or heard much detailed information with substantial evidence about her relationship with Sanjay; only the rumours that were in the press after he was first sent to jail and it was said that she dumped him. I am a big fan of Sanjay Dutt as well as Madhuri and I think they made a perfect couple IF the rumors were true.IF the rumours were true and she did dump him then, I would not have agreed with such a decision; I personally would support the man I love always

Afetr his release in his interview with Movie Oct 1993 he again explicitly said about it. Not only that he also said when he first saw the rumours he personally went to Madhuri and said sorry about it. Before that he said it many times too
