  • i luv dis song!!!!

  • there's something really amazing about this version.. It gets me every time I listen to it..

  • Great version of a great song, but is that really the best image you could find for it?

  • @wgaule It's the album cover.

  • I love the start, it is amazing.

  • Good but the unison bit sounded horrible. Otherwise great but that soloist doesn't have a particuarly nice voice.

  • @DabaDooful hatin it sounds unique and diff from how many people would sing it so normal..

  • @natalielana Thats chorus for you

  • the solist sounds like somewhat phill collins..

    love the arrangement.....

  • the soleist is called Duanne Addams i guess. Even though he sang that solo, his original voices is the bass....and the very low one lol....isn't it weird? Look for Holy, Holy, Holy-acappella and you will fill it!

  • @fireglory07 The bass in Holy, Holy, Holy is Robert C. Guy, who happens to sing a bit lower than Duane Adams. But Duane and Robert have incredible ranges, no doubt about it.

  • @fireglory07 actually Duane Adams has done several tenor solos for Acappella. Truth be told he actually only sang bass in the concerts prior to Robert Guy joining Acappella.almost all of the recordingts from 1988 (Growing Up In The Lord) till his leaving the Acappella Company featured mostly Gary Evans singing bass. he only sang bass to hush and 3 other songs on the Rescue studio recordings.

  • @HamRadioJunkie and even then I like Gary better in the Exapella version of Hush here on youtube :P Duane is a better Tenor.

  • @HamRadioJunkie cool..haha I always thought it was duane singing the bass. Anyway, thanks for the information;)

  • @HamRadioJunkie robert guy didnt join until 1996 or so, after we graduated...i was in chorus with him for 2 yrs. amazing person. but george, wayburn, duane, and gary were the group for a really long time, like i wanna say from the mid 80s till the mid 90s. but then the label (clifty records) did some other projects (women, children, christmas, country) and they used all different people, like musicians from harding and lipscomb and the families of the group
