  • i prefer a chainsaw to cut down trees

  • but for $30 bucks really??? if you want to spend $400-700 for the ti locks ok but $30 bucks say what!!!!!

  • just a good idea to wear gloves when playing with sharp objects....just saying...

  • it probably failed because you were using it wrong. youre not supposed to cut a tree like that with a folding knife. youre supposed to disengage the lock, rest the blade on the tree, and hit the other edge of the blade.

this prevents damage to the lock and pivot. youre only supposed to chop at a tree like that with a fixed blade.

  • RIP the tree ;)

  • What folder would you recommend? I love this knife but would never consider it for combat type use. I don't like to think of tactical & folder in the same sentence.

To be honest, you really did give that one hell of a work out. LOL.

  • This is why I do not own any folders. The new Ka-Bar Mark 1 handles most anything, is compact, and won't fold onto your fingers. :)

  • You should send it back to the factory if you're having lock issues. I own 3. I've put it through insane shit. It's the toughest folder I've ever used, and I'd stake my life on it before any other folder.

  • you didn't get hurt but you did get the tree hurt. not cool.

  • @beholderlt are you serious?

  • Great test .. lucky it didn't cut your hand!

  • Don't bang the back of your folding knife on a tree and that should take care of most of the locking problem.

  • Your foot would have worked better...

  • I would like to see you try the cold steel pocket bushman, has an interesting lock up. And under 30 bucks in price.

  • no offense but u sound like a lil bitch..

  • you did work on that baby tree

  • охренеть акцент, земеля шоле?

  • poor fucking tree

  • @onexnightxstandx4

ha thats wat i said in the begining

  • i would recommend a Cold Steel Recon I (2010 version) as a replacement for this knife. It's lock up is incredible

  • that was a close one. almost lost a finger there lol.

kabar had a bad batch of MULEs.

  • I'm not entirely sure, but it might be that while holding the handle very tight, the lockback was depressed and then disengaged while striking. I've heard this happening before with other lockbacks. Otherwise, it looks like a good harduse folding knife. I love those kinds of knives, like having a folding fixed blade. Another great video!

  • @ComradeGeneralK Yeah but that would happen in a combat situation even more then because you have to keep it tight in the hand to prevent to slip off and the fear and other things i just don\t have faith in the locking mechanism i would not put my life on it and it was not a good strike lucky me it din\t cut my hand

  • @ComradeGeneralK The disengage on the mule is pretty high up though, chances of one actually pushing it during combat or anything is rather unlikely
