Kobe is so full of garbage. How is defense more important then Offense? Look at Chicago Bulls? Best Defensive team in the NBA, but guess what? It dont matter HOW MANY SHOTS YOU BLOCK, if you cant throw the ball in the hoop and SCORE points! So Derrick vs LBJ and Wade whose going to win? They got TWO offense options vs Derrick being just one. While the Bulls had a TEAM of defense and the Heat had a few defensive players. Period.

Lakers are primed for a 3 peat. Most would have thought that the champions would just have an idle offseason. But no, they go out and bolster their roster with gritty veterans like the excellent defender Matt Barnes (though he did have beef with kobe this past year) and the great shot blocker (also a good overall defender) Theo Ratliff.

@TheAmx27 Matt Barnes didnt do crap. The Lakers sucked most of the season and the playoffs. All they had was a injured Kobe, who is still better then 98 percent of the players in the league, and a old tired Fisher to SCORE. Where was Barnes that whole playoff series? Bynum was a big fat ass baby, and who else was on the Lakers? Odom acted like he was at home, and the rest was plain sad to watch. I hate the Lakers but wanted them to get past Dallas, guess it was meant for Dirk/Kidd to win finally
