Were you playing the Ibanez on middle single coil or one of the buckers?

Once again, I did not put a Vintage 30 inside the AVT. I am just using 1x12 extension cabinet. You cannot put a 12' speaker in a AVT 20 because it's cabinet is too small, unfortunatly.

Ok. I put a Celestion Vintage and a JJ 12au7 tube in mine. Made a huge difference. I put the lower gain tube in so that I could play louder with pedals with out the tube saturating the signal as much. It gave the lead channel a very bluesy sound while opening up the clean headroom a lot. Great amp now!

How did you get the 12" speaker in there?  Did you modify the cab?

No, the Celestion is not in the combo. The combo is sitting on a 1x12 cab.
